#1 “Bandung” is a big city in Indonesia, the capital province of West Java.
#2 “Lembur” is Sundanese term of village.
#3 “Kang (Skunk but without S, lol)” is a simple saying of “Akang (Just added “Ah” at the first)“, a Sundanese term of “Brother”, used to “casual-but-honorific” call for an adult man.
#4 “Teh” is a simple saying of “Teteh”, same like “Akang/Kang”, but used for call for an adult woman--but also used to calling an important women such as older sister or very dearly older woman for the persons who saying it.
#5 “Papih”, is another term of “Father”.
#6 “Aa (uh-uh)“, is Sundanese term for “Older brother”, very dearly older man for the persons who saying it, and also romantic designation for boyfriend and husband.
#7 “Kades (Kuh-Dash)” or “Kepala Desa”, is Indonesian term for Village Chief.
#8 “Pak (Puck)” is a simple saying of “Bapak”, is Indonesian term for “Mister” or “Sir”, but also used for calling “Father”.
#9 “Den (Than)” is simple saying of “Aden (Uh-Then)“, is Sundanese term for male “Young master.”
#10 “Bi (Bee)” is simple saying of “Bibi (Bee-Bee)“, is Indonesian term for “Aunt”, but in Indonesian and Sundanese culture, “Bibi” had pejorative meaning become terms for calling female housemaid.
