It was the Holy Grail war time so I had to summon my servant. Masters summon their Servants at the start of each ritual. Different system possess different means of facilitating the summoning. Under systems based upon the Fuyuki ritual, there are several factors that determine which Heroic Spirit the Master will summon. It is general that the seven participating Masters are all magi due to requiring basic magecraft to properly perform the summoning, but the quality of the Masters does not matter so long as the most basic summoning requirements are met to fill out the Grail's requirement of seven Servants being manifested. Upon selecting the Masters, the Grail distributes the massive amount of magical energy it has gathered among them to facilitate the process. While the summoning ritual (儀式の召喚,gishiki no shōkan?) are generally specific, their main goal in the Holy Grail War system is to act as a precaution to create a bond with a perfect, reliable Servant. They really only require a summoning circle, even if unskilled, and a catalyst can bypass the need of chanting a spell. Doing so can create aberrations like Gilles de Rais being placed into a normally unsuitable class or King Arthur having a bad connection with her Master that does not allow her to receive magical energy through normal methods. Flatt Escardos is a complete anomaly in that he is able to complete the ritual without even meaning to summon a Servant, simply by "fiddling" with the magical energy in the area. The connection to his Servant is spontaneously established, and it is unknown if it can be called a miracle, luck, or an achievement of his own latent potential. It is possible to specify in the summoning ritual that the Servant be placed under the Berserkerclass for those familiar with the workings of the Grail System. By adding in a specific line, Zouken Matou and the Einzbern family, as members of the Three Founding Families, were able to choose this class during the Fourth and Fifth Wars respectively. In the Great Holy Grail War, each faction has a summoning ritual according to the color they represent. I am mostly interested in the Archer class servant all I know about him are his powers. He was an expert marksman, decent Swordsman, Master of Projection and Reinforcement Magecraft, Unlimited Blade Works. I decided to summon Archer though I am still kinda unsure but I gotta do what I gotta do. Right?

I was standing in the middle of the summoning circle as I recited the words

"Let silver and steel be the essence.

Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation

Let (colour of the catalyst) the colour I pay tribute to / Let my great Master (your ancestor's surname) be the ancestor*

Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall

Let the four cardinal gates close.

Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate.

I hereby declare.

Your body shall serve under me.

My fate shall be your sword.

Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail

If you will submit to this will and this reason...Then answer!

An oath shall be sworn here!

I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven.

I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell!"

I looked around and saw nothing but an empty room. I let out a loud sigh as I face palm myself believing that I failed until I heard a loud bang in the living room.

I ran to the living room seeing a servant. I believed it was a servant at least. "Are you my servant?" I asked kinda nervously while the annonimus stayed quite for a second and answered "Is that the first thing you ask a servant?" I hated his mocking tone, but unlike my friend Rin I stayed calm and said "Well it was pretty unexpecting to see a servant summon outside and jump through your window and break half of your living room so..-" I show him the command seal "Are you my servant?" He smiled and said "Yes I am your servant. You are different thought and I like it." I look at him confused "Uhm.. what do you mean?" He said something I said earlier "You are calm, unlike Rin, she got mad at me and used a command seal for proof that she is a great master, though she was a nuisance." I like what he thinks of me, but I do not like what he thinks of my friend. "You are a-" He interrupted me saying "I am an Archer class servant" I am lucky I have good nerves... "Ok" "Did I piss you off?.." He asked concerned.. what the? "No you didn't why?" "I want to gain your trust so you don't have to use a command seal on me." Wow that was not expected "Oh well I wouldn't use a command seal if you pissed me off, I already trust you so don't worry and I only used a command seal once when I really had to..." He looked at me concerned again and asked "Why if I may ask?" I don't really want to talk about it right now.. "Uhm... I'll tell you another time, I don't want to talk about it right now." "Ok" He said as he got up and added "I will fix the things I broke, you can go to sleep if you want." He doesn't have to do that.. "Ok thanks, if you need anything just tell me and you can make yourself tea if you want" "Ok thank you Master." After he said that I turned to go to my room when I hear Archer saying "Oh and by the way call me Archer" "Ok!" I yelled back and went to my room to sleep

~ In the morning ~

I was woken up by someone opening the door to my room and by sunlight that came through the window as well so it was okay. I opened one eye and saw Archer put a cup of tea on my nightstand beside my bed. "Oh morning Archer" He looked at me smiling and said "Good morning Master. I hope I didn't wake you?" "You didn't" I smile tiredly as I sit up

"How did you sleep?" I asked him "Oh, uhm you see, servants don't need sleep I was awake the whole night" "Oh.. Yeah i must of missed that" He chuckled and said "I hope you like the tea" And he left the room, so i yelled him a "Thank you!!" I hope this grail goes by well. I thought to myself as I drank the tea. After I drank the tea I went to take a shower. After I took the shower I realized I got everything except for a towel... Oh my God... Kill me.. I can't call Archer for this one... But what if he walks to my room and sees me? If I call him, he at least won't see me.. I huff in frustration and yell "ARCHER" He came near the bathroom door and said "Yes master?" "C-can you get me a t-towel from my room? I forgot to take it..." I stutter in embarassment and he said after a long sigh "Where did you leave it?" "O-on the bed" I heard him walk away and come back "I'll set it on near the sink" And he walked out closing the door. "Thanks!" I yelled and cautiously got out of the shower, not to slip because I was still wet from the shower. After I dried and got my clothes on I went to my room to get the tea cup that was... already gone? I went to the kitchen and asked Archer "Hey have you seen that tea cup that was in my--" I cut myself off not believing my eyes. "Suprise?" Archer asked and I came closer to him and said "You didn't have to wash the dishes. That's my job!" He chuckled lightly and said "I have nothing to do anyways." "Ok well I'm gonna make breakfast. What do you want?" I asked him and he said "Servants don't need sleep and they don't need food either." "I insist!" He said kind of annoyed "Do what you want" I looked at him and said "Well I'm gonna eat cereal so.. you gonna eat that too mister" I joked and made us both cereal. I put the cereal bowl in front if him and said "Buono Solo" as I sat across from him and realized he was confused "Oh that means good apetite" He nodded and started eating. After we ate I went to wash the dishes and after that I sat on the couch in the living room and took out my phone. I played a game, my favourite, Legacy of Discord - Furious Wings. I love that game. I couldn't pass one stage so I made the clicking sound with my tounge in frustration. Archer sat next to me and asked me "What's wrong?" "I can't pass this stage and it's annoying" He thought for a moment and said "Can you play again? I want to see how you play it so I can try." "Um sure" I played again and died. "See? It always kills me!" I yelled in frustration and looked at Archer who was trying not to laugh. "So can I try?" He asked. I huffed "Sure, but I am sure you won't pass it's too difficult" "Never say never" He qouted and started playing, I watched him and I couldn't believe my eyes. He actually passed it? And he played it for like the first time? Wow "Thanks" I said and he completely ignored me while playing the other stages and passing them. I just watched and realized I was really tired. "Hey can you hand me the phone?" When he handed me the phone I saw that it was 1 am and I had school tomorrow, well more likely today. "Well I'm going to sleep, good night Archer" I said and got up "Good night Master" I heard him say as si walked to my room. Well it's gonna be a long day.
