The wind whipped through the trees making leaves hit the ground. A black wolf jumped across a small creek, hunting a rabbit. It’s red eyes scanning the grass for movement of some sort. Just as it was about to start running again, something jumped on its back. Growling, it turned around coming face to face with two wolfs. The male wolf lunged, grabbing her scruff and throwing it. It yelped, blood rushing from its side. Just as they female wolf was about the lunge, a 14 year old girl took the place of the wolf. She screamed, pulling her hands over her head. But the pain never came. She slowly pulled her hands down, coming face to face with a boy and a girl. She growled, bearing her teeth, trying to look as big as possible. She realized that it wasn’t working, she started backing up. She started whimpering. “It’s ok, where to going to hurt you. What’s you name?” The girl asked. “Novi.” Novi whispered. “I’m Maddy and this is Rhydian. What are you doing out here?” Maddy asked.
“Hunting for rabbits.”
“Why?”
“Because they kicked me out. They tried to kill me, but I got away.”
“What did you do?” Rhydian butted in. Novi growled at him. Her eyes turning yellow and black veins crawling up her skin. Just as she was about to run away, she yelped in pain. Maddy ran to her side, push on the wound.
“Rhydian, go get help!” Maddy yelled.
Rhydian bolted through the forest, dodging trees and roots.
Rhydian came back later, with a man and women trailing behind him. The man and women looked worried.
“Mum, dad, this is Novi. She’s a wild wolfblood.” Maddy said, still holding the wound.
“Tamed Wolfblood!” Novi spat. Venom slipping off her tongue.
Novi tried the get up, but fell back down, yelping in pain. Daniel moved towards her, sticking out his hand.
“It’s ok, you can trust us. We’re not going to hurt you.” He coaxed.
Novi sniffed his hand, snorting at the smell of flowers. She sneezed, looking at him with shock.
“How do you make your hands smell like that? They smell like flowers!” She asked, looking at him suspiciously. She smelled his hand again, looking at him ones more.
“Soap, it’s a cleaner for your body.” He said. “Have you never taken a shower?”
“What’s a shower?”
“It has hot water and soap. You can come take a shower at their place.” Rhydian said, pointing to Maddy. Before Novi could protest, Rhydian picked her up bridal style. Novi growled, trying to bite him. He just keep caring her, ignoring her.

Maddy brushed Novi’s hair. Getting all the tangles out. Novi whimpered every time she pulled the brush through her hair. All the dirt was washed away off her hands, making her fell weird. When they where finished, Maddy showed Novi to her bed. Emma was laying down a blanket when Maddy and Novi walked in. Novi ran over to the blankets, shifting into a wolf. She moved the blankets around, making a little nest. She looked at Maddy and Emma, giving them a little snort of thanks. Before she could hear Maddy and Emma’s laugh, she fell asleep.
