Chap 0 -Author's Note
~AUTHOR’S NOTE~
This is an 18+ book. It contains strong violent content, edgy language, sexual situations, controversial and possible trigger topics. I was inspired by several sources that some will find disturbing or worse, vile and repugnant. I attempt my best to leave a lot of that imagery out of this story, but the hints are there. You have been warned, but also feel free to comment, review, and share.
I look forward to this becoming a movie one day. My inspiration for this story is an amalgam of “Crossed” (2008 - 2010) comic series by Garth Ennis, “The Screwfly Solution” (1977) short story by Raccoona Sheldon, “Bird Box” (2014) novel by Josh Malerman, and “Girls” (2005 -2007) comic series by Jonathan and Joshua Luna.
If you’re still reading and still here, this is the tale of two sisters, one sister’s boyfriend, and his frenemy, all trying to survive as the world descends into an epidemic of women being killed by men on a global scale. This is not the story of the madness descent. It’s the story about what drama goes on within the group as they seek to survive in a world being torn apart. Can one man be truly immune to whatever is affecting every male by the sheer power of love for a woman? Come in. Sit down. Let's watch what happens.

If you've watched movies about the end of humanity via a virus, pandemic, dystopian future, then you have a glimpse of this book's story.
If you've read a hundred books that have the same tropes of people cleverly surviving the world's end, then you are in for a shock with this book.
How would you react, behave, or what would you do if those of us with XY chromosomes began to kill their opposite, XX chromosome with no warning, no pattern, and in psychopathic, sadist manners no matter their station in life? No zombies or supernatural reasons for their behavior. Just a light switch was flipped off and humanity is placed on a runaway train to a violent extinction.
