Siding Spring Observatory, Australia

“I got word that there was a strange radio pattern coming from moon. Any other readings that seem unusual?” said Kendal, a 38 year old Asian born scientist with red dyed hair. His attitude towards everyone was oblivious except his pregnant wife who watched as he worked “Our star baby must really like it here. She keeps kicking everywhere.” She said. Her name was Luan. An Australian woman in her early thirties with blond hair. Kendal grinned and went to his researcher. “Sir something is wrong” the researcher said “the moon seems to be expanding, and at a large rate. At this rate it might collapse on itself” “impossible. How can the moon expand this early? The moon isn’t due to even slight expansion for another thousand years!” Kendal exclaimed. One of the female researchers screamed “everyone. Outside; you need to see this.” As she trembled in fear. Everyone headed outside and, in shock, saw the moon. It was growing. Behind a mountain the moon was even visible and even almost as bright as day. “Oh my god” whispered pregnant Luan. As the moon grew it got brighter. Then all of a sudden it stopped growing. “Sir there is large thermal overload near the Mare Crisum, I believe that there is a meltdown going on that might cause an explosion there.” A researcher said. They stared at the moon for 3 minutes. Then Kendal asked “Why did the moon grow in the first place. Before an answer came through, an explosion happened on the moon. In fear everyone ran and drove home. Everyone but Kendal and Luan who were wondering what exactly happened.
