That Thing

t was the year 1971.
"TESSA! Are you ready? We're going to be late!" Freya shouted. A man comes towards her,"Calm down Frey, let her take her time." the man said. Freya looks at him, tilts her head and crosses her arms,"And what do you plan on doing if she misses the train, Al?" Freya asks. "She won't." Albert remarks and Freya looks at him, confused. "Mom." a voice comes from behind Freya and she looks behind her. "I'm ready." Tessa says as she smiles at Freya. Freya looks at Albert and he chuckles, Freya sighs and looks and Tessa,"You look great, honey. Now, let's go, we're going to be actually late." Freya walks away and Tessa looks at Albert,"You just love messing with her don't you?" Tessa asks and Albert winks at her. They all sit in the car and Albert drives them to the station and they all get out. "This is exciting but it's making me nervous." Tessa says as they're all walking to platform 9 3/4. "You're going to do great, hon. Just like your father." Freya remarks as she puts her hands around Tessa's shoulders. "Or like your mother." Albert smiles at Freya. Tessa sighs and asks,"Do you think I will be in Ravenclaw too?" Freya and Albert look at each other in worry. "It doesn't matter what house you are in. The only thing that matters is how you perform in it. Just remember the words..." Albert says when Freya cuts him in,"Platform 9 3/4, here it is." Freya says reffering to a wall. "Now, you will walk right through it with your trolley. Just focus. Your father and I would be right behind you." Tessa takes a deep breath, runs towards the wall and just in a second, she's on the other side. She looks up and sees the board for platform 9 3/4 and in front of her was a long train. She looks behind her and she sees her parents. "Take care of yourself and Tiffany." Albert says looking at the white cat on her trolley. "And remember....to always...." ".....be good and do good" Albert and Tessa say together. Tessa says goodbye to her parents and gets on the train. She spends a few minutes looking around for an empty carriage. "Wish I could just accio a seat." Tessa says to herself when Tiffany's cage opens and she runs. "TIFFANY! Oh no no no. This is a bad start." Tessa exclaims and she follows Tiffany to a carriage and picks her up in her arms,"You little clumsy cat." Tessa says patting Tiffany's head when she notices four people looking at her. One of the boys was wearing round glasses, the other has poofy hair, the other had black hair and there was a girl looking at her Tessa with her bright green eyes. "Pardon me, Tiffany ran away and I couldn't find a carriage. Sorry for the disturbance." Tessa remarks looking at them. "No problem. I can understand. I believe we need introductions. I am Lily Evans." Lily says as she smiles at Tessa and Tessa smiles back. "Tessa Jillian." Tessa remarks. "Oh and this is Severus Snape." Lily says reffering to the boy with black hair. "Nice to meet you." Tessa says and looks at the other two boys,"And you are?" The boy with the glasses looks at her, takes his hand out and says,"James Potter." Tessa shakes his hand and looks at the boy with poofy hair. The boy rolls his eyes and says,"Sirius. Sirius Black. Just take that thing and go." Tessa widens her eyes and looks at him in surprise, "Pardon me?" she says. "You heard me." Sirius remarks. "Well, what can I expect from someone of the 'Noble house of Black'. And for your information, that thing is a cat and her name is Tiffany." Tessa remarks. "At least you know I am someone. You are no one." Sirius says and Tessa leaves in anger. She finds an empty carriage and she goes in,"Hey. Every carriage if full. Would you mind if I sit here?" she asks to the girl sitting in there with short hair. "No. Not at all. Come in." the girl says and Tessa sits down opposite to her. "I'm Tessa Jillian." Tessa says smiling at the girl and she takes her hand out. The girl shakes her hand and says,"I'm Alice Fortescue. Nice to meet you." They talk on the way to Hogwarts until they reach there.
