A Collection of "Poems"

I walk down the same path

I wear the same shoes.

However, when I look down the road.

I can never see you.

Do my eyes deceive me?

Am I blind to the truth?

We wear the same clothes.

But I can never recognize you.

I try to fasten my pace.

Maybe I can reach you if I move a bit faster.

But every step I take, you move even farther.

I stop in my tracks.

Pausing to clear my mind.

How funny it is that what I’m chasing is time.
