The way he stares at her itself told that how much she means to her. If his looks had a voice, then it would be screaming i love you in thousand special ways. No matter how much he resist it seemed he was like a moth who drawn to the flame. And she is no less than a flame to him. The way she talks to everyone, the positivity radiating around her, the sparks he felt everytime watching her. Everything attract him even to the extreme of this universe. She is more like a poison, he addicted to. Her warmth, her calmness all became his sanity.
He knew he is openly checking her out, among thousands of people here. But he can't help it, only blame her for this.
"manik", she called him with her sugary voice that made him shiver. No matter how many times she called, every time he ended up feeling the same. The love and effect he has for her can't seemed to be subside, instead it keep on increasing day by day...
"manik'', she called again frowning at him. " what happened, chachi is asking for you?'', nandini worried at his silent gaze.
He suddenly pulled her into his arms and whispered, " i love you nandini... i love you very very much''
She blushed at those words. No matter how many times she heard those , it still make her heart goes wild. If only they are not surrounded by many, she would have kissed him hard then and there.

"manik, i love you too. And please leave me. What if anyone see us?'',she said getting redder even more.
He chuckled at her face, " I don't care. I'm romancing with my wife.''
She looked around here and there and suddenly pecked his lips harder enough to make his balance loose. Thanks to the wall which supports them. He left panting hard as she walked away smirking with her hips swayed so slightly ever.
Manik wondered since when did she became this wild.

" manik'', Some strangely annoying voice make him wake up. He looked around as if he is searching for something or to be precise someone. Then he realised that she is not here. She had gone, long before. He won't blame her. It was all his fault. The accident, the cliff, even nandini warned him not to drink while driving. But his stupid self hadn't listen. He lost her for forever. No matter, how much he tried those days spend with her haunt him in every possible ways. He lost her. His only sanity amidst the chaotic mess. He still remember every moments spend with her. Their long journey, from making her as his spot girl to making her as his soul mate. Every fights, every arguments, every romances, every special moments, every laughter...
All mercilessly ended because of one simple stupid mistake of him. He could never forgive him for the deadliest mistake he caused. He not only lost her, he lost even himself.
At hospital, after hearing nandini died he literally tried to kill himself. But a doctor spotted him and stopped him. If only that doctor not been there, he reached his nandini long back. But the doctor not only treated him as her patient but so much more.
His family literally forced him to marry her. He can't help but agree. For the world, She is so beautiful, so charming. Even though she treat him so well, he never seem to love her. Leave loving, he never even think about her. All his heart is chanting nandini's name for every breathe he is taking.
He even don't know her name still calling her as a doctor. He hated himself even more making her life as hell too.
" Manik, you again slept", she scolded as if he is a baby.
"sorry doc'', he said sleepily making her teary eyed.
" oh manik, how many times did i say you to call me as mega'', she smiled even at that state and gave him her food and went from there without speaking.
Manik sighed as he unintentionally hurt this pool soul.
Why did she even married him. If he had not married, he should have died long back. But the responsibility he holds now, banned him from reaching there.
Its been almost two years since the accident happened. In his home nothing has changed. His mother being her usual self treating mega as like nandini. But for him, his soul has left him blindfolded in the centre of a dangerous forest. everyday is difficult for him to live. At first he said to everyone, that he don't want to marry because his nandini didn't die. She is somewhere in this world, alive. He can still feel it. But every possible member in his family and friends refused to hear as if he is a mad man who is speaking non sense.
Even nandini's chachi compelled him to marry mega as she can't see his sona munda dying everyday.
He don't know how many times he wished that he had been in the place of nandini and died instead of her.
He gladly choose death over nandini at any rate if the choice was given to him.
He still love her with all his heart. Maybe what he felt for her is more than something which the humans describe. he is more like a walking corpse without even having other thoughts than nandini.
He is dying slowly, at the thought of her. If she is his poison, she will be the only antidote. She is the pain and she will be the cure. She kills his peace yet she only can give him peace.
He maybe crazy for thinking over a dead person that too for two years. But according to him, he is living with her. She is his soulmate. And soulmate never really left us.

Mega went to the terrace with eyes bloodshot and heart full of hatred. No, she never hate her manik. Her all hatred is only meant for nandini.
At first she felt as if she won the world, when they asked her to marry him. But even after marrying him, she can't even move a stone. She changed everything, except him. He is still living with that stupid nandini's thoughts and didn't even considered her as his wife.
She even doubts whether he knows her name or not?!
With that, her hatred for nandini has raised more and more than before. Even after removing her all the things from the room , she can't alter his memory. She can't make him forget her.
Manik malhotra may be lost emotionally, but his physical strength and aura never descend. He still remain the greek god as always. And in the business world, he is still a legend. But if only they read manik's mind, they even believed him as a mentally ill person.
Mega don't even know what's with nandini that he is sticking to her even after her tragic death. She thought after her death, he might forget her and live with her happily as a good family. But what is happening here is more tragic.

Manik knows that nandini can't let sleeping him with peace as forever. But today she at the peak of her mission of not let her manik sleep in peace. After she left, sleeping is his only thing that give solace and comfort. But today, something inside him moved as if her thoughts came more often even if that is possible.
He is feeling like being so closer to her. He even felt the same warmth that fill his heart whenever she is around him.
Manik loosened his tie as he pounced the bed without even removing his formals.

He stared at the star lamp which she gave as a gift long back at his diwali party. Where he learned that love is boundary less. Love can make you do anything, where he even witnessed that someone looking more beautiful than his beloved stars for the first time ever. Where he learned that there is someone who can even calm the monster growling inside him. Where he can learn that being with her almost make him sane and safe!!
He still had it. It was more like a treasure he cherish... mega don't know it was the only remaining thing that he had which is related to her. If she knew, she could even snatched it away, like life snatched his nandini away from him.

There is more like an emergency, the surgeons are rushing to the room no:308 , which was so silent for almost two years.
What happened.
The young girl is responding after two years. It is more like a world wonder to them all. She responded for the first time in these two years, after all the hopes and believes were died. She blinked her eyes and the pulse rate has been oscillating to both the extremes.

After while...,
"Manik...", it was the only word she could utter.
Everyone surrounds her were shocked to the core. She finally responded. It is going to the greatest victory in the medical field.
" what is your name?, young lady", the senior doctor asked her.
She blinked once again. The physical pain she is enduring now is not even near to the mental pain. All she want is to see his lovely face and ensure if he is safe and sound.
After being asked thrice, nandini finally uttered," nandini manik malhotra, from mumbai''.
she don't even aware of the forwarded two years in her life which change her world upside down.
" i want to see manik, my...husband...where is he?'',she asked with her broken voice.
everyone still aware of the pain she is feeling now.
Atleast with almost healed broken ribs and fractured leg and twelve stitches in her feather like body.
All she remember was scolding manik about something so silly. He even making fun of her scolding. She would have laughed at the memory if she was not in this terrible state. With a blink of an eye, they were hitted by a truck which lost its control. But it more seemed so deliberate, they were rolled of the to edge of the cliff where she had been threw from there. But manik? She still have no idea. All she heard was his screams that filled over her ears before darkness hovering her around.
Now, all could she thought was her own soul has been ripped out from her body. She mercilessly crying while falling from the cliff, where the irony is she is not cried for her, but for manik. For her soulmate, for her only love.
What more sad was that this accident happened while they were coming back to home after visiting their place, where they meet for the first time, where he gave his grand proposal for the first time, where they kissed senselessly amidst the rains that pouring over them adoring their love, where she had proposed him to marry her with his favourite meteor showers, where they made love under the stars glowing and fireflies blushing, where the made seven vows of togetherness and made their hamesha as forever.
That was not just a place for them. That is much more than that.
Before she even asked again about her husband, young man in his late twenties appear infront of her. She looked at him with that much of shock that even made him afraid.
All she even utter was, "cabir?!". Darkness surrounded her once again.

Manik woke up with the jerk that nightmare about nandini's accident still make his nauseating. He ran over the toilet and threw up everything he ate.
Oh nandini?!
What could i even do without you?
His eyes looked so cold, so distant even to him. He seriously don't know what did he even did to destiny? Why can't it may even once do something favourable to him. The only best thing it did ever was make him meet nandini. And soon after it snatched away. He even gave his life over her, but this is destiny is literally a bitch.
He came to the terrace where another thing which he adore that give solace. Before stars were his admiration, but now it became his obsession as it always shed the warmth that almost similar to her.
Stars , that always remain us the person whom we lost, whom we are longing to see. She even brought him his stars just because for once, he said that they are pretty and he loved them. Even before they confessed. She was always like that noticing small and tiny things around her, keeping her near and dear ones always happy. Spreading her warming smile and valuable love to all. Her positivity always used to amused him.
If only he see her again?!
Just when he wish, a shooting star passes over the sky promising him so silently ever.
His eyes still stuck on the place where it passed. He can't decipher whether it is purely coincidental or the new game of destiny?
