An experience in four movements
"Another lovely and enjoyable read! Well done! "
A Soothing Read
"I loved the author's writing style and the way that they presented the characters and the plot. Recommended to anyone who is familiar with French history and a lover of all things poetry."
The Poet's Princess
"Shall I dare to write a review of this book? Would that not be, to use the Author's words, Like "a mongrel barking at the moon"? It may be a cliche, but this book reads like a modern classic. It is lyrical and poetic. A masterpiece. I shall reread it many times. Let me stop now, before I make a bigger fool of myself! "
Part of French history that few know about
"Got lost with names several times ,so had to move backwards"
The Poets Princess
"i am vey thankful to came across the author Lidmila. She is one the rare talents , who is writing in such a modest and - at the same time - powerful way."
The Poets Princess
"i am very happy to came across this talented writer lidmila. After The ABC of Love another title, which reached me instantly. Thank you."
Amazing!
"I don't read normally about princesses but my friend sort of forced me into it and I don't regret it. This Anne is quite a dame! What I also enjoyed was the present and past overlapping each other showing there has never ever been a paradise on earth."
On the edge of reality
"Another captivating peace of my favorite author. This story cannot be measured with the standard tools - this is something that completely takes you away from reality and returns only when the story is finished. Gentle, emotional, vibrant fairy tale touching deep and serious aspects of life. Honest and open poem about reality lialised with fantasy."
Poet´s Princess
"Milá Lído, přečíst celý román čerpá hodně času. Přesto se k němu budu ráda vracet v budoucnu. Zaujal mne tvůj postoj nejen historický, ale i filosofický a lidský. Pokračuj dál, Přeji ti úspěch a dávám vždy 5 hvězd. Luďa"
The Poet's Princess
"This story came alive for me. Lidmila wrote it in such a way that I felt I was in two worlds and enjoying both. I do love history and romance, so it was perfect for me. The characters were interesting and I felt their happiness and pain."

Great novel
"Normally I don't like reading historical novel, but this one was quite different because the people were really alive. I nearly felt in love with the poet."
Bravo
Bravo"
The Poet's Princess
erudition and literary excellence
"Lidmila is one of the most erudite persons I've come across, speaking half a dozen languages and having lived in so many places. She applies this erudition - here, historical - in her literature so that she let's you plunge into the era she describes, with no 'phoneyness', as appears in so many other so-called historical romances, combining it with a poignant story."
