Incredible Read
"We all read for different reasons -- I read to experience a good story. With "The Play's the Thing", you get that and so much more! There is a depth to every aspect of Ms. Forsyth's writing that is more than unexpected -- it's exciting! Not only did I get the good story I was looking for (and "good", in this case is an understatement), Ms. Forsyth provides an atmospheric completeness to every moment, every character build. There is an interwoven complexity to reading this novel that continually titillates, and ultimately, satisfies -- Ms. Forsyth is to be congratulated. I thoroughly enjoyed this incredible read."
Small Town Dynamics
"I enjoyed the writing style and characterization very much. The vocabulary is above the average read but then I learned some new words, always a plus. The twists and revelations kept things moving along, though were I one of the locals I might take offense at the depiction. Overall a thoroughly good read."
Not worth it
"I lost interest after the first three chapters. When a writer discredits the very people that took the time to read my story with lame accusations, this goes beyond ego. Some of those reviewers are authors themselves and one spoiled apple doesnt stop the show. Imagination and originality is lacking in The Play's the Thing. Maybe her next offering will have more substance."
