1. Where Am I?
Shinsuki’s POV 0
I woke up in a very strange world. It looked like the village I had grown up in, but older, as if I was in the past.0
“Where the hell am I?” I thought.
“Hey! Are you alright?”
I turned to see a boy that seemed about my age running towards me. He had a leaf ninja headband and looked oddly familiar.
“You just fell off of that rooftop didn’t you?” He asked as he helped me to my feet.
“I’m not sure.” I replied. “I don’t even know where I am.”
“Really? You must of hit your head hard. Your in the village hidden in the leaves. I figured you know that since you had a headband.”
“Well that’s kind of complicated, I’m not from here.”
He looked at me a dazed look.
“I’ll explain that to you another time.”
“Who are you anyway stranger?” He asked.
“I’m Shinsuki.” I decided not to say my last name just in case something was going on.
“I’m Naruto Uzumaki! The future Hokage of this village!”
“Wait, this is Lord Seventh? I have to be in the past, he looks the same age as me.”
“Nice to meet you Naruto.” I said trying to keep calm.
“Say, Shinsuki was it? You look very similar to my Sensei.”
“Well, that may be a coincidence.”
“Hey Naruto who is this?” I turned around and saw a girl walking toward us.
“Hey Sakura, this is Shinsuki.”
“Well hi. I’m Sakura Haruno.”
“Nice to meet you.” I replied.
She leaned over and whispered something in Naruto’s ear.
“Is there something wrong?”
She looked at me a smiled, “oh no, I was just saying you look very similar to Kakashi Sensei is all.”
I froze by the sound of his name. I still have a hard time coping with dad’s death. I normally visit his grave in my house once a day.
“Is something wrong Shinsuki? Do you know him?”
I rubbed the back of my neck and fought back tears, “Yea, I’m kind of….related…to him.”
“WAIT, REALLY!” Naruto yelled.
“Are you his brother? Or his uncle? What?”
I kinda looked down, “ Can we talk about that in private please? It is kind of hard to explain.”
“Ok! We can meet at my place later tonight. Is it ok if Kakashi Sensei came too?” Naruto said.
I teared up at the thought of seeing dad again, “Yea, that’s ok.”
“Great! See you then!” Naruto yelled as he ran off.
“Don’t mind him, Shinsuki, he’s an idiot.” Sakura said while nudging my arm.
I smiled and laughed, “You have no idea.”
She grabbed my arm and started encouraging me to walk with her, “Come on, I wanna introduce you to some friends!”
“Oh…ok.” I said as I followed.
We walked through the village as she showed me many buildings and things I’ve never heard of or seen before. We reached some restaurant and walked inside. There were about four people who I recognized immediately.
“Hey guys! I wanna introduce you to a new friend.” Sakura said as we sat down.
“Guys, this is Shinsuki. Shinsuki these are my friends, Shikamaru, Ino, Neji, and Hinata.”
I smiled and waved, “Nice to meet you all.” I replied.
“Nice to meet you Shinsuki.” Hinata said.
“Yea! Sakura I didn’t know you knew a boy that was so cute.” Ino said while blushing and nudging Sakura.
“Pleasure to meet you, Neji Hyuga of the Hyuga Clan.”
I didn’t know Neji personally, but I did hear stories of him and how powerful of a Byakugan user he was.
We all sat and talked for awhile until I remembered we were meeting Naruto and Dad to explain how I got here and what’s going on.
“Hey Sakura, aren’t we supposed to be meeting Naruto?”
“Oh yea I totally forgot, we better hurry!” She replied.
We got up and went to leave. We had to run halfway across the village just to get to Naruto’s house.
“Bye guys, we’ll speak later!” Sakura yelled as we ran out.
“Hey, Shinsuki?”
I turned and look at Sakura as we ran.
“Yea? What’s up?”
“I couldn’t help but notice, you seem to be a lot like Sasuke. Do you happen to know him?”
I thought about what to say but had no reply. I forgot that Sensei wasn’t in the village much when he was younger.
“I’ll explain everything once we get to Naruto’s, I promise.”
She smiled up at me and blushed.
“Ok.”
We continued to run as fast as we could through the village, hoping not to keep Naruto and Dad waiting.
“I can’t wait to see Dad!” Is all that was in my head as we got closer and closer to our destination.
