"No words can describe how amazing this book is. This book is like a breath of fresh air, nothing like i've read on this app. The book deals with addiction and how it's a disease that creeps into lives and disrupts the mind and people surrounding the addict. I love how the characters were so involved on each others lives and helped them with whatever they were going through. The writing style, everything was on point. How the two were able to heal through different form of challenge is fucking admirable and despite the healing process were able to raise a child, that definitely helped a lot. If i were to rate this book, it'll definitely be a 10. The author deserves many accolade. "
Not your typical romance novel.
"Erickson-Parks's storytelling skills sparkle brightly in this intriguing piece of highly entertaining work. Nothing Else Matters will very likely be that special book which sticks in your mind, long after you have finished it, plus in my opinion it has re-read appeal, so you'll probably find yourself going back to it to enjoy it again a second time, then a third time. You may also find it to be one of those books you "just couldn't put down" because of wanting so much to find out what happens next. How many books can you say you've heard of or read, that have Narcotics Anonymous meetings as one of the settings in their stories? The book is not bland, folks. There are intimacy scenes, shocking scenes, scenes with gentle and precious charm...overall an interesting story as a treat for yourself or as a gift. This is not a book to be missed."

"Karen has written a story that draws one in. I couldn't stop reading until I had finished it. The details of the characters and their emotions all seemed true to life. There was conflict and love and tolerance and growth of the characters. A fine read!"
Eye-opening look at PTSD
"When I read this it was from a outsiders' perspective as i have never been into drugs, but the author's skill brought it to life. What I enjoyed most was little details that I have experienced in my own life. The author approached PTSD with great respect and understanding; having it myself, I was not offended by her words but found it relatable. This book was a delight to read, while very eye-opening."
