In Part One, James has found the girl of his dreams in Holly, because she is the kindest person he has ever met. One night, James hears Holly whispering in her sleep, Angels, you come for me? James mentions it the next morning, then Holly bursts into tears. James begins prying, Holly, what’s wrong? Holly makes a startling admission; On the 21st of February, I’m going to die. As the 21st of February rolls around, James wants to spend every second of the day with Holly, but she has gone missing. Never to be seen again. 14 years later, and James’s perception of reality is going to be altered forever. * In Part Two, the message is clear; even the most innocuous actions can have far-reaching consequences. On the 21st of May, 1975, 19-year-old Martha Pike is about to make the worst mistake of her life; robbing an elderly woman, although someone is watching, a Guardian. The Guardian takes Martha into the future and shows her the consequences of her actions; if she robs the woman, a young girl will die in a car crash that occurs 40 years later, and it will set in place a chain of events that could plunge the world into chaos; if she doesn’t rob the woman, the girl will survive the crash, and she will become the most revered figure in the nation’s history. The countdown has begun, and the fate of the world is now in the hands of a nervous and bewildered 19-year-old woman.
