Prologue
Death is a part of life. The humans fear it, worship it, and will even crave it. Humans are such interesting creatures. Especially since they can cheat death. Some humans are born with the instinct to predict their death and prevent it while others will speak to the spirits of the dead.
There are many questions about what happens after death. The best way to answer some of those questions is to interrogate the spirits or the gods who watch over the worlds.
I can answer the question plaguing your mind, human. You’re wondering what happens next now that you yourself are experiencing death. What would you do if you could be reborn in another world? To be given another chance after such a terrible life?
I see you’re excited. So you’ll accept this gift? Good. I will bless you with amazing abilities. I wonder what kind of life you will lead with your new power. Will you obtain the simple life that you always desired in your previous life?
Will you journey to become stronger? Will you be an adventurer? Perhaps you’ll become a scholar! You love to learn. You love to explore. Maybe you’ll do whatever you want with no restrictions. I hope that you do. May this new life give you the happiness that you were deprived of by my sister.
