Summary

An eccentric dreamer is haunted by a mysterious manuscript written in bird tracks. He pursues the manuscript and its translation through a maze of hackers and the NSA, Artificial Intelligence, virtual Clarence St. Claire is determined to be the Most Serious Human on the planet. His motto: work is important; people not so much. Which makes it difficult for him to explain why he is sitting in a tree at midnight, at the cemetery, talking to ghosts. Flashing back to an earlier life, one where impossible tasks of translating almost unintelligible scrawlings was common Clarence see’s himself now as a shell of the man he once was. Now, haunted by the call of a long lost manuscript, Clarence finds himself bound on a journey to uncover the truth of what truly lies in the shadows of his past. Calling on the help of the long-dead spirits of writers Clarence walks the thin line between insanity and reality as a struggle unlike any other threatens to break out. Together with spiritual guidance will Clarence St Claire plunge down the rabbit hole and uncover the truths that shroud these mysterious scrawlings or will he lose himself beyond repair?
