Prologue
I decided to take a stroll in the gift shop which was a few blocks away from my home.
It is winter season and everyone were walking in pairs but here I was wearing a mask and sunglasses and walking alone.
The gift shop was beautifully decorated with colorful paper strips on the door, it was recently renovated and the smell of paint was still fresh. It smelled like lavender.
The smell was fresh but the things and memories were old. This is where everything changed. This gift shop holds a special place in my heart. This gift shop was always the turning point of my life.
The place where I decided about my future, the place where my heart broke and the place where someone held my hand again and helped me.
He came in my life unannounced and changed me. He showed me a life which I always wanted but something stopped it from happening.
He helped me get back on the top and made me feel loved and wanted. I actually have a lot of people who admire me and wants to live a life like me but they don't know the truth and my loneliness.
People say that rich people are always happy but they don't know the sacrifice.
He made me realize that my every sacrifice was worth it and that I should do what I want and not let other interpret me. It is really funny when I think about the past.
There was a time when everyone around us used to say that we can never work things out but now we both are an important part in each other's life.
It was never an easy journey. It all happened a year ago.
