Summary

It's up for interpretation and can be seen in many ways but in the way that I wrote it was about dealing with the thoughts of suicide.

A Ballroom Dance with the Reaper

No one can ponder the intel of a wicked dull edge pressed to her throat or that of the cloak of plastic that was vigorously wrapped to her head to diminish the life that precious air has.

It has gone unseen, behind the shadows a quiet and malicious Ball room dance takes place, with the hideous and secretive reaper.

As they sway around with each other, both light on their feet, in the darkness he whispers in her ear as she weeps.

As she pushes on they continue to meet. A sinister little game the reaper must keep for he has something to gain which is not quite clear.

Might all this be from what she has to offer or what she might lose or is all of this just for his muse.

Its seems to be from the plague in her mind which allows this soulless reaper to stop by. She cuts her tongue to keep others from hearing his voice, because from that night in the darkened ball room dance he whispered in her ear something most of you are eager to grasp.

With hellish low toned mumble the secret message was one she will not forget.

"You will be mine if we continue to dance for I am the one who will have your last breath. Time is ticking as we advance. "

Dancing with the reaper in the dark ballroom she finally says.

"I really hope we don't meet again for I am tired of dancing, my feet have been blistered. I wish to never lay eyes upon you again until it's truly my time to depart, Goodbye to you sinister reaper, I am putting an end to this darkened ballroom dance."

mariedavismd312: This was Avery spiritual read. The last 2 chapters where very disappointing. That was such a let down unless there is a sequel. Burgess should have been punished for what he did.
