Prologue(Boy's POV)

She doesn’t understand that her words strangle me but at the same time they caress me like no other. Her sentences twist and break my heart into billion pieces but yet she glues it back, every freaking time!

I have seen those creamy pages spilling out of several books, left at her desk. I fiddled with their edges, traced those lines with my fingers. When she returned she never found me but only the wind. I swear, with each word she has made me think that she flies. Her arms stretched wide as her wings flap across the riveting blue sky such that it is impossible to know whether the sky is her or she the sky.

She doesn’t understand, only if she knew.

Only if she knew....

Somehow this short prologue gave off some Ghibli vibes! ♡ Two things that really caught me are the blurb and the cover so, kudos for that. No essential critiques for now. This is a good premise overall.
