I didn’t want a role. But I guess I had no choice. I was put into the dark to remain hidden but then I was exposed to light. I remember what my mother said to me when I was feeling upset, ‘Let the sun set on your ocean, dear one, where the nightmares live and horrors run. Then open your heart to a brand new day and let your sunlight rise with brand new rays.’”
