Chapter 1
It was Monday first day of college and Bright head is already aching with all the chattering going around him. His friends were talking non stop about the Summer break. To make it more worse his first class were mathematics. His friend Mike asked him after getting closer to him "Brighty Why do you look so pissed off today". Bright doesn't bother to look at his friend face and groan in a commanding tone "Mike can you back the fcuk off". Bright wasn't in the mood his mom already wakes him up early in the morning and lectured him to get good grades and all. Bright felt his head throb with all the headache he was having. Bright shrugged his friend and straight walk towards his locker.
Bright shove his bag and pulled out few book. Suddenly looking at his favorite subject mathematics his head start throbbing more he rest his head at the edge of his locker and closed his eyes. After few moments the locker started slamming shut and students started running to reached their classroom Bright took his sweet time to get in his classroom. As soon as his head slowly hit the table Bright dozed off. He wakes up as the bell rings again. After sleeping for two hours he felt amazing. Next was history then lunch break he know he suck at this Subject so he should pay attention. But no matter how much he pays attention he couldn't help his stomach from grumbling.
On top there were two girls sitting in front of him and both were continuously talking about the new student who is an orphan and how he was wearing cheap and outdated clothes and what not. Bright literally wanted to bang their head together but the bell saved them. Bright finally put his sunglasses on and walk towards cafeteria. He line up with his friends he was also adding comments here and there while talking with his friends. Bright picked his favorite six slice of pizza and went to takes his seat but suddenly he saw a boy awkwardly standing not to far from him. His extra large green shirt, dark blue jeans rolled up over his ankle, his curly hair, and his extra white fair and lovely skin makes him stand out. His loaded tray of food in his hand. Bright couldn't look away from the bunny boy.
The boy was looking around while digging his bunny teeth into his lips and Bright control himself not to wave his hand and offer the boy his table. Finally the boy made his way at the very end of the cafeteria he sat alone and start digging in his food without looking up at anyone Bright couldn't takes his eyes off from the boy and he ask "Who's that?". His friend replied "His name is Win. He is the one from orphan".
Next Day at 7:30 AM Bright walk through the crowd, heading towards his locker when someone suddenly pushed Win from back and the boy in front of Win fall. Win tried his best to stop himself but he lost his balance and he held Bright's arm and both boys fall onto the floor with a loud thud. After falling Win bite back his whimper and slowly opened his eyes to see who is the one he fall onto. Bright was staring at him with soft eyes. His gaze wandering all over Win face. And Win feels his cheeks getting hot and red. Win suddenly started rambling "I am so sorry. I didn't mean to.. Are you hurt, Did you fall hard..I mean the thud sound was loud. Thud aren't good you know". Bright gave his best smile at Win and Win heart slammed against his chest to come out after looking at the bright smile he received.
Win suddenly notice that everyone was looking at them and already started murmuring. Mike too came running to help Bright stand up he asked Bright in full of concern tone "Bright!! Baby... are you alright?". Win mentally thought Ohh so Bright, it suits him'. Bright said to Mike "I am Good". Win instantly felt relieved hearing Bright response he grabbed his bag and decided to leave the couple alone. Win walked to his classroom with his head down. His first lecture was English literature which is his favorite subject. It's not even 8 and he already got bullied he doesn't want to add up more this early in the morning. He put his head down and choose the seat of upper right corner. Once he settled down he took a deep breath. Soon his teacher walks in and all thought about bumping into prince charming dissapeared from his mind. His next class was mathematic which he hates since he find out about the subject. It wasn't his favorite subject but who actually liked it anyway. Yesterday Win had to skip the class because he was late and Today somehow he was able to find the classroom and entered on time. Win choose the third row near the wall.
Once Win settled down on cue Bright walks in. Win saw Bright gorgeous eyes looking around for seat. And Win doesn't know why but he couldn't takes his eyes off from prince charming face. He held his breath as Bright eyes catches him. Win felt someone punch his gut for a moment when they locked their eyes for mere few second. Win thought should he wave at the guy but they doesn't know each other so instead he look away down to his hands and fingers and lick his lip. Win tried hard not to raise his head and look at the charming face. Somehow Win managed to drag out the two hours class. He was about to give up his fight against sleep but luckily class ended and his tummy rumbles. Win immediately bolted out straight to the cafeteria to eat.
The whole week passed by class- food- class- back to orphanage. Win was nowhere close to getting friends with anyone. He didn't needed many just one was enough though. He was shy kinda so it's was little hard for him to initiate but no one else tried it too. He didn't like any sports and he always felt conscious with the stares he was getting with other students. In whole school his favorite place was the pool area where student used it only for two days. So most of the time it was empty and watching water always give him a sense of calm.
It was a beautiful whether outside and Win was daydreaming in his school library. He sat on a chair next to window. His cheeks in his hand and elbow resting on his table. Soon there would be a time he'd have to leave the orphanage, he had to find a job, Will he get married to someone and have kids?, Will he have money and his own house?, Wil he find someone who will Love him in return? Or would he struggle and struggle?. Will it be hard to afford two healthy meal for himself?, What if he stays alone for the rest of his life. His questions were endless to himself. He was still lost in his thoughts and looking out of his window when someone drag the chair back and sat on it.
Win immediately straighten up himself when he saw it's non other than prince charming. Bright gave Win a little wave and put his hand on the table then his head on it and dozed off. The boy came to sleep in the library after when his energy got drained doing PE. Win doesn't know what he should do or say. He just kept looking at shining hair under the sunlight in front of him. For few more minutes Win saw Bright had really fallen deeply asleep like it's the most comfortable place. Win somehow tore his eyes from Bright and look back into his book and saw page number 97. He doesn't remember how he reached there so he went back to first page again. For few minutes he kept alternating from staring at Bright and staring his book. To stop himself acting like a freak Win decided to concentrate in his book. After an hour he was so caught up that he didn't realize when Bright woke up and rest his chin in his hand and watch Win reading.
Bright felt amazed watching Win reaction his every ghasped, his wide eyes and his lips movement. Then the bell rings and Win look up from his book he got startled looking at Bright. Bright was awake and looking at him he shut his book and said with a smile "h hi". Bright sat up properly and replied back "hi". Win ask "You're awake". Bright only nods his head not taking his eyes off from the boy. Win wanted to hear Bright voice deep and soft. Win doesn't know what he should say but something to hear prince charming voice so he said with a shy smile again "I am Win Metawin". Bright said "Bright Chivaaree" with a wink. Win gave him a small wave and informed "I have to go back home. It's closing time. Aren't you going home?". Bright finally look away he pursed his lips and ask "Can I walk you to your locker instead of waiting here?".
Win nods his head and clumsily picked up his book. They both walk side by side in silence don't know what else to say afterall they doesn't know each other. Once they reached to Win locker. Win shoved his book and put some in his bags to take back. He gripped his bag strap tightly and said "You don't have to walk me to the door Bright". Bright gave him another wave while saying "Okay...See you tomorrow". Win turned around and staright went to exit without turning back.
Next day it was horticulture class. Bright kept staring at Win who looks busy chewing his pen cap. Only five minutes were remaining for the class to end when the professor announce everyone to submit four types of flower which mean first Love. Bright for the first time looks away from Win to his teacher who is writing the same on the board. As soon as the bell rings. Bright took out his phone in style and watch as Win pack his bag slowly. Once Win done packing he gets up and start walking. Bright wasn't expecting Win to walk up to him and stand in front of him with two book pressed on his chest he said looking straight at Bright face "You're being a creeper Bright".
