Chapter 1

"Dunce face, what the fuck!?"

Denki glared at Bakugo, who was pushing Kirishima behind him. Denki was panting lightly, his hands still raised up to his face, in tight fists. His heart was racing underneath his ribs, and he looked like he was a villain.

"What the fuck has gotten into you!?"

Bakugo took a step towards Denki, ducking as Denki swung out a right hook at Bakugo's face. Bakugo grabbed Denki wrist as he narrowly avoided getting socked, and twisted his wrist, pulling his entire arm behind his back, pushing Denki to the floor. Denki cried out in pain and rage, and attempted to kick Bakugo off him, failing.

"Let me go, asshole!!" Denki fought, only to have Bakugo push his arm further back. "Ow, ow, ow!! Alright, alright!!"

"Whats going on, dunce face? If you're still angry about Shinsou, get the fuck over it." Bakugo looked livid beyond anything else, but anyone who knew him could see the worry and concern lurking underneath his deep red eyes.

Denki shifted underneath Bakugo, the pain in his arm easing up. "How can I? That bastard was with me for 2 fucking years, and he just kisses Monoma like nothing happened!! He said how great I was, and how I was the only one for him, yet he can kiss someone else like it's nothing!! I just..I dont understand.." Denki's temper was fusing out quickly, and he was going back to his dead, zombie like state he has been residing in for 13 months.

Bakugo sighed heavily, a low growl escaping. "Dont you dare go back to that empty state of yours, fucker!" Bakugo stood up, Yanking Denki up with him, making Denki look him in the eyes, but Denki was already gone, any emotions that were there gone. what did that asshole do to you.

Bakugo let Denki go, and Denki just simply turned around, and walked off towards the dorms. Kirishima walked over towards Bakugo, his lip no longer bleeding from the punch Denki threw. “Just give him time.. He's just upset."

"That's just it, Kiri.. I dont think he will get over it. Denki really loved him, and that shitty eye bags broke him.." Bakugo looked rather upset as he turned and faced Kirishima.

Kirishima smiled softly, and gently wrapped his arms around Bakugo's waist, tugging him closer, Bakugo's arms going around Kirishima's neck. "Look. If I know Denki like I think I do, he'll figure this out, one way or another."
Bakugo sighed softly, and buried his face into Kirshima's chest. "I hope so."

Denki walked up the stairs to his floor, the same empty look on his face, his feet dragging him to his room, his eyes looking like they were staring off in some far away place. He took a left after ascending the stairs, passing by Izuku Midoriya and Uraraka Ochako.

"Denki-kun? Are you ok?" Uraraka stepped away from Izuku stopping Denki in his tracks.

Denki looked down to her. "Fine. Get out of my way." He tried to walk around her, only her to to step in his way again.

"Denki-kun, I dont think you should head to your room...S-shinsou is waiting at your room."

Denki's face changed in a flash to a look of anger. "What."

"S-shinsou-kun. He's... waiting at your door. Like last time."

Denki shook his head, annoyed and angered that he couldn't just go to his room. "Kaminari, if you want, Uraraka-san and I were just heading to the common room. It's movie night tonight, so..the rest of the class will be there. I don't know if Shinsou will.. sometimes he comes, but...he doesnt come often. We're watching The Gallows if you want to join."

Denki sighed, running his fingers through his hair annoyingly. He knew that going to his room would only be trouble, with Shinsou guarding his room, waiting for him. Denki also knew that going to movie night would be trouble as well, seeing how not only is there a chance he'll run into Shinsou, but he'd also have to deal with his classmates, whom he has been attempting to avoid for 13 months now. But maybe, going there will help.. if there's even a large chance of Shinsou showing up to movie night, i'll simply leave. Maybe interacting with my friends will be good....hopefully.

Denki nodded, and turned around. "Is it ok if I walk with you guys..?"

Izuku and Uraraka grinned. "Yeah! C'mon! it'll be fun! I hear the movie is scary!"

Denki only nodded, and started walking with them, glancing behind him in worry that Shinsou will notice and come after. He was glad he didn't, as they descended down the stairs. Izuku and Uraraka kept chatting with Denki, making sure to involve him in their conversations, so he wouldn't be left out.He gave his opinion a few times in the conversation, otherwise staying quiet, looking down at the ground.

He heard the excitement from the common room as they neared the room, and he only hoped they would allow him to hang, and not shun him away. Once they were in earshot and eye shot of everyone, the room grew dead quiet. Denki started to fear the worst when he saw someone with pink skin hug him.

"Hey, Denks. Glad to see you here. You staying for the movie or just heading to the kitchen?"

Denki slowly hugged back. "I'm...staying for the movie. If shinsou shows up, i'm l-"

"We'll kick his ass and force him away. We see him more than we see you, dude. We'll make him leave." Sero walked over, placing a hand on Denki's back.

Denki only nodded, and broke away, and sub-consciously started heading to his favorite seat. He stopped when he realized Tsu was sitting there.

"Oh, sorry, Denki ribbit. YOu're usually not here, so I just decided to take it for tonight." She stood up, and walked to another seat, patting Denki on the shoulder as she walked by.

Denki felt bad because he made her move, but he sat down anyway, curling his feet up underneath him. Everyone else seemed to be preparing for movie night, handing out blankets, snacks, drinks, and other things, while others were talking excitedly about the movie. Denki just pulled his phone out, and started scrolling through Instagram.

"Dunce face."

Denki froze and looked up slowly to see Bakugo staring down at him. "....yeah...?"

"...glad to see you join us." Was all he said before he turn around, sauntering over to Kirishima, who was sitting on the couch, chatting with Sero. Denki watched as Bakugo sat down on Kiri's lap, curling up against, as Kirishima smiled softly at him, wrapping an arm around him, before continuing his conversation with Sero.

Denki couldn't help but smile as he realized his friends missed him, and seemed happy he was here. Though his smile was small and almost unnoticeable, everyone could feel his aura brighten up, and everyone made an unspoken choice to make sure he stayed this way.

Mina walked up to Denki holding a blanket, and his favorite snacks and drinks. “Hey. I.. brought you some things.” She motioned to the things in her arms. “Can I…sit?”

Denki nodded and scooted over, knowing there could be enough room for both of them, considering how small they both were. “Yeah. Of course, Mina.”

She smiled and sat down next to him, setting the things down in her lap. “How..have things been?”

“They’ve been… well they could be be better.”

Mina looked at him confused. “Everything ok?”

Denki just nodded and smiled. “Yeah. It’ll be fine.”

Mina nodded, and looked down at her hands in her lap. “I know we don’t really hang anymore, or talk much and I know you still show up to class and still live here… but I’ve missed you Denks.” Her voice grew quieter, so as to let him know he was only supposed to hear.

Denki smiled that soft smile again. “I’ve missed you too, Pink queen.” Denki spoke just as softly, looking at her.

Mina turned to him, and embraced him in one of her gentle hugs. Denki hugged back, pulling his best friend closer. Denki realized how much he needed human contact. How much he missed it, and wanted to have this feeling again.

When they finally broke apart, Denki grabbed the stuff from Mina’s lap, covering the blanket over him, offering some of it to Mina. She gave him a shocked grin, nodding as he placed some of it over her, each of them scooting into each other, the talk staying small.

“Alright extras!! Movie is starting in 5 minutes! Need to do anything, do it right fucking now!” Bakugo shouted out to everyone, as the class was spanned out in the whole space of the common room, and some of them in the kitchen even.

At these words several students started hurrying or booking it to the dorms, grabbing or doing last minute things. Denki and Mina couldn’t help giggling at the sight of everyone running around wanting to do everything they could before the movie started.

Eventually, the five minutes passed and everyone was sitting on the couches, chairs, each other’s laps, and floor. Just as Bakugo turned off the lights and placed in the dvd, getting ready to start the film, someone came rushing in.

“Guess I’m just in time for the movie..”

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters.
