Great Short Story
"I really like this story. I know it was your first, but I think it might could have been drawn out further. I guess I just wanted more after getting through it so fast. However, it’s still a good read with minor grammatical errors, none of which takes away from the actual story. It is still perfect exactly the way it is. I am drawn to novels with either outdoor or small town settings. This one for sure hit the spot. I also liked getting to know Rose’s character. She would be a gem of a woman to find. It was nice to see Jon’s appreciation of the kind of woman she was. I admire you for admitting how you left it mostly unedited so that you can see your own progression. It also leaves you a bit vulnerable for criticism. With that said, I believe leaving it mostly unedited shows confidence in your writings, which is a good quality to have."
