This story follows a fairly young man named Jeon Jeongguk. Running away from his wedding rehearsal, he somehow ends up in the Land of the Dead married to a beautiful corpse named Kim Taehyung.
Although the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more lively than the ironic Land of the Living, Jeongguk has to get back to his family and marry someone he doesn't love. Yet, the more time he spends in the Land of the Dead and the more he learns about his undead husband, the more Jeongguk wants to stay and the less Jeongguk wants to get back home.
