"This book is one I flew through, couldn't put it down. Which is okay, because the rest of the books in the series are absolutely immersive as well. It is very spicy, *very*! And it does come with heavy trigger warnings. It isn't all spice though. It has a captivating world built as it goes, and the plot keeps you wanting more. Which it definitely delivers. The way the characters are written makes them very relatable, even in this fantasy setting. And this is definitely a book I'll re-read, just because I miss the characters and story. "

"This is a very emotional story. I cried so much. I just wanted to strangle him sometimes for being an idiot, then I wanted to hug him so much to take away his pain. They both have their demons to overcome, and so much heartache. They were both too scared to show their love, afraid of their past."
