Toby

Toby smiled as he got out of the shower and saw that his wife had laid out his dress pants and shirt already pressed for work. One of the things he loved about her, she knew what he needed before he did.

After getting ready he made his way into the kitchen seeing his very pregnant wife Norma Ackers plate breakfast of eggs, bacon and toast, with a hot steaming cup of coffee.

"Good morning Mrs. Ackers." Toby smiled hugging her eight-month bump.

Norma smiled at her husband. "Good morning Mr. Ackers, you better sit you don't have much time to eat."

Toby sat as they ate breakfast together. Toby checked his watch. He needed to hurry out. Standing he kissed his wife's cheek. "Thank you, delicious sweetheart, I have to try and beat traffic. See you later, love you." He grabbed his book back.

"Love you too honey, see you later have a great day." She waved him off.

Toby sighed and sucked his teeth getting caught in traffic usually was a general fucking nightmare. The elderly drive slowly, women put on makeup in the car, and parents deal with their unruly kids in the backseat, all when traffic should be flowing.

Toby was relieved when he finally pulled up to the university.

He walked through the campus acknowledging some of the students that acknowledge him. He reached his room and wasted no time setting up his projector screen to teach his advanced History course.

After he had done prepping his lecture he checked his watch his university students would be filing in any minute now. One he particularly hoped showed up on time.

Gina

Regina's eyes pitched open, she held her head from her headache. She had a damn hangover. That damn frat party last night was lit though. She tried to get up but fell right back on the bed. What lit fire to her ass, making her pitch quickly out of the bed was her need to puke her guts out.

She emptied everything over the toilet all her dorm mate could do was look and shake her head. When Regina got up she flushed and stood next to the sink only to see her roommate giving her a judgemental ass look through the mirror, prompting Regina to flip the bitch off and slam the bathroom door.

Regina checked her watch sucking her teeth, fuck she was going to be late again. She could almost hear her professor's lecture. Regina just shrugged her shoulders to herself heading into the shower.

Ready for class she rushed over to the campus. She walked quickly over to her advanced History course twenty minutes late. When she opened the doors Mr. Ackers was already mid-way into his lecture.

"Miss. Mason thank you for gracing us with your presence finally," Toby said annoyed without even looking up because he knew it was her.

"Well you know, a queen always has to be fashionably late." Regina retorted back sarcastically causing some of the others to snicker, while the more serious ones rolled their eyes.

"Have a seat, Miss. Mason." Toby said sternly.

Regina smirked sitting in her seat as Toby regained control of his lecture.

Regina was bored with most of the stuff he had up on the projector, she knew it. Oh, Regina Mason was no dummy she just liked to pretend she was. She had a photographic memory and could solve the most simple shit. She was just going through the motions of this college experience. It wasn't all that it was hyped to fucking be.

Most of the professors here were snotty-ass thinking they knew it all assholes, especially the female lecturers. The only class Regina could stomach was Toby's. He wasn't as boring because his ass was fine as fuck. All the female students swooned over him, even some of the female teachers lusted after him. He was muscular and tall, his face was handsome and structured. Chiseled jawline and the way his tight ass stuck out in them pants Regina bit her bottom lip as he walked around the room watching his ass. Regina could tell he was packing in the front too just by the way he walked. She definitely could imagine what his white ass, could do to her chocolate ass.

She knew Toby as her neighbour from when she was younger when he lived in her neighbourhood before he married and moved away about two years ago when she graduated from high school. It was funny how she ended up at the same university he taught at.

He taught some more until the end of the class when he told the students he wanted a twenty-page thesis turned in by the end of the week causing them all to groan.

"Oh and Miss. Mason do stay behind a second."

Regina sucked her teeth. The rest of the guys headed out while she stood awkwardly by his desk waiting to hear his annoying, boring-ass lecture, about how she was ruining her life and shit blah, blah, blah......she was sick and tired of hearing this shit. She just wanted to live her life and have fun a little, before she got serious into her studies.

Toby sat on the edge of his desk taking off his glasses. "Regina!" He called getting her attention.

"Tobias!" Regina hummed back with sarcasm.

"Stop with the attitude ok. What are you doing Regina? Late for class again? Plus I hear some of the other professors complaining that sometimes you don't even show up and when you do you're hungover half the time."

"Why the fuck is it any of your business. dude? I haven't seen the head nor tail of your ass, since you left our neighbourhood until I got here. Now all of a sudden you want to act like you give a shit about me."

"First of all stop with the language, I'm your professor show me some respect," Toby said sternly as Regina rolled her eyes.

"Are we done here?" She asked annoyed.

"No, we are not done here, Regina. Your mother works very hard to pay for your tuition and you're making a mockery of all her hard work, going to sorority and frat parties every night when you should be studying and doing your very best to make her proud."

"Don't cross the line telling me shit about my mother Toby. You know shit about us. I don't get bad credits, I'm a good student what more do you fucking want from me?"

"For you to do better Regina, you are too smart for all this. You are 19 and an adult, now act like it. You can do so much better than wasting your potential."

"Who says I'm wasting my potential, Mr. Ackers? Maybe I'm just waiting on the right time to unleash it."

Regina said walking away from him. Toby just sighed, shaking his head.

*******************************************

A/N: Yes we trying this shit for the third time. I've made some big adjustments as you can see. Gina is an adult now not to ruffle anyone's feathers. #rollseyesandsucksteeth.*

Hi PeachyQuelly,

I recently went through your story Deserted Island (BWWM) and I loved it so much. Your writing is amazing, and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic.

I loved the setup in Chapter 1 where Regina, a genius partying too hard, ends up shipwrecked with her married professor, Tobias, on a deserted island. It would be ideal for making a comic as it merges survival tension with emotional conflict beautifully.

I specialize in adapting stories into manga/comics, and I’d love to bring your story to life as a comic/manga. No pressure your story would look awesome in comic form. If you’re interested in a paid collaboration, I’d love to discuss bringing your story to life visually!
