Greta
Chapter 1
Greta sat in her mother’s room and put a wet cloth on her forehead.
Greta's mother was very ill. She was ill with what she thinks might have killed her sister 1 year earlier.
The DISEASE but know one knows what it is or if it is the same one from before. This thing killed millions the first time. But this time it spread like wildfire.
You would walk down the street and see people dead and dying but now you can not even go out on the street. If you did go out though if you were seen you would die a painful death and if you were caught stealing food.....
“Greata'' my mother said, snapping me out of my thoughts and making me jump in surprise.
She had been out cold in sleep for a few days. But now she was up “Mother you're awake can I get you some water” that was a stuped question of course she did “yes please” she said in a scratchy voice
I ran into the kitchen when I was getting the water form the pot that I had a boil for 5 hours straight because it was so full of the DISEASE.
I felt like I was being watched. I looked around but there was no one there. Walked back to my mothers room with the water I went in and dropped the bowl of water i was holding.
someone was there other than my mother, a man was standing right over her bed.
