"I really like the plot of the book and the characterization of all the main characters, however, I’ve noticed that the dialogue is quite unnatural whether it just info dumping or telling vs. showing. I’ve also noticed that you use the dialogue tag “smile” very often and it comes off as very repetitive and awkward. I would suggest using “say” since it’s mostly invisible or in most cases taking away the dialogue tag to begin with."
