Intriguing

"As a family drama this is outside my usual genre preferences but it's well-written and engaging throughout. If I was going to make a criticism, I'd say that the pacing is very fast. if the author could take a moment to describe scenery, setting and sensation it would give me a chance to catch my breath and appreciate the way the story is developing. However, that's my criticism as a reader from outside the genre and I suspect those who read the genre regularly prefer this fast pacing. Great writing."
