1: The Dream
"At last you came!"
A monster spoke out with an echoing voice. He had a gruesome appearance with large green monstrous body having algae-like texture. But his voice was less grumpy with a satisfying tone. His crooked smile changed a little seeing the other person who looked respectable.
"Your appearance makes me feel joyful. I came here only to fight you because only you are worth fighting me!"
This statement clearly showed the vanity the monster had in himself and the respect towards the person he was facing.
"Don't underestimate my beloved brethren, they are more praiseworthy than you are willing to pay."
This person is a human being with magical prowess. His voice was so soft that it just managed to reach the monster. But his voice was calm yet strong with unusual confidence.
His appearance was clearly wizard-like, covering with a dark violet cloak, and his face was covered with a piece of cloth, of colour of the cloak, only keeping the eyes open. He also had a sword sheathed.
On the other hand, the monster was not a common monster. His inadequate but decent outfit indicated that he was the king of his race.
"Let us keep the words for the last and start the action!"
The monster spoke energetically as he started moving for some action.
Seeing the monster coming towards him, he opened his left eye fully and his black eyeball suddenly changed to blue with three small red spots, each at sixty-degree angles to the other, which resembled fire.
"Oh! That was the same dream again!"
A young man uttered rather indifferently as he was awake from his sleep. He was around six feet tall, handsome having a muscular physique. His skin tone was yellowish but a little fairer. His face was as sharp as wood with negligible softness. His finely trimmed black hair looked like a thin layer of grass, above his head. The fighting that was about to happen was happening inside his dream.
"I don't know why I am having the same dream over and over again," he murmured to himself as he remembered that he was having the same dream at least five times over the last two weeks. The mage in the dream made him more curious than the monster. This was because the mage had the same eyes as him.
"Who could he be?" He questioned himself, "His eyes are clearly the same as mine, but that's not me because I don't have any magical powers, even if I leave those eye-powers alone!" He continued, "And it will take a miracle to have these powers within me and I don't see any miracle coming!" He was amused.
Ultimately he kept those unfruitful thoughts aside and got off from bed as he was hungry.
