The Unusual Case of Running

Felicity Murphy never meant to end up in the situation she was in now. Honestly. All Felicity planned for in life was to go to Cambridge University and have a leopard gecko and/or a hamster. Leopard geckos and hamsters are important to society.

Anyways, Felicity was never really a bad kid, minus that one instance in third grade when a kid called her little orphan Annie due to her red hair. She always managed to keep good grades and have a few friends.

Now at the age of twelve, she was running for her life because she took the popular girl’s boyfriend on accident. She didn’t even like him! He just randomly kissed her behind the school one day, which is never a good place to kiss a girl. Felicity guessed it was to make this popular girl jealous, but now, she was dead meat.

“Felicity Murphy,” Felicity heard behind her. “You messed with the wrong boy.”

Meanwhile, Mickey and Ian were actually enjoying their day. Ian had the day off and was casually just hanging out with his husband. They watched movies and cuddled the whole day. There was also a bit of tthe horizontal tango every now and then. Though Mickey would never admit it, he loved it when his husband would spoon him or wrap his arms around him.

“What should we watch now?” Ian asked from the couch.

“Certainly not one of those lame ass movies we’ve been watching for the past hour,” Mickey said from the kitchen. “Let’s watch something cool and exciting,”

“If you say the words, Pretty Woman, Mickey Milkovich, I will not hesitate to kill you.”

Mickey smirked. “Pretty Woman.”

“That’s it.”

Before he knew it, Mickey was on top of the kitchen counter.

“Watcha gonna do, tough guy?” he teased.

Ian pressed his lips to Mickey’s in a heated rush. Mickey’s arms went around Ian’s neck and would occasionally roam lower. They stayed like this for a while, just kissing and feeling.

“We should take this to the bedroom,” Ian suggested.

“You think?”

Suddenly, the front door slammed across from them.

“Hi. You don’t know me, but I’m Felicity Murphy and I’m in some deep shit right now.”
