"I was hesitant at first. It's been 45+ years ago I left a violent relationship. I was a bit concerned about old memories. But the book was good. I enjoyed the story and the open ending. It's true that once it's truly over the freedom and relief makes you feel like anything is then possible. It's seriously a brand new life. You did a very good job of bringing that out to your readers. Looking forward to other stories from you. I like your style."

"Loved this story! It was amazing and heartbreaking at the same time. If I had to criticize it I would only suggest one thing. I think you should draw out the story more and make it longer. It would be nice to see some details about the years leading up to the marriage, the early years, etc in flashback style. It would also be nice to see more of the marriage in the present and more sneaking around of the two lovers before the climax of the story with the death of the husband. Overall, I loved the story and I definitely will read more by this author!"
