Chapter 1

“Come along now, Katherine. They shall be arriving soon,” Narcissa calls calmly. I take a turn around the corner, following her down the steps. She wanders through the dining room, into another hallway until she approaches the door. A swift turn of the handle and she projects her sweet smile, welcoming the guests.

Suddenly, Draco is behind me. A soft smile plastered on his face; his hands clasped together behind his back. Mother greets our friends and invites them in. Pansy hugs me, followed by daphne. Draco hugs Blaise and Theodore as well. “Nice to see you again, Nott.” Draco chuckles softly, excited for this weekend. “Blaise.” He nods in acknowledgment.

“It’s nice to see you lot. I will send the elves to collect your things and take them to your rooms.” Narcissa nods politely and excuses herself from the group. We all talked as we walked towards one of our rooms, big and spacious, with a few sofas in the room.

I followed behind Blaise as he and Theodore followed my brother. Pansy giggled lightly from behind me, and I turned with a smile. “Just wait till he brags,” I whispered. Draco strutted over to an empty armchair, placing himself in it comfortably.

Pansy and I sat together on one of the seats, Blaise and Theodore doing the same. Daphne smiled at Blaise as he looked up at her and allowed her to sit on his lap. I looked at Theo and swallowed nervously, imagining how he would feel if I had sat on his.

I cleared my throat and turned my attention back to Draco who was chattering away of his news. I rolled my eyes and shut out the noise, waiting for him to finish.

Eventually, Draco seemed out of breath. He stood tall and a smirk curved his lips. “Anyone favor a drink; I’ll only be asking once.”

We all nodded, and Draco had paced across the room to the bar, pouring us each a drink. I sat with small talk among Daphne. Pansy played with her hair, watching Draco impatiently. I let out a small giggle from something Daphne had said about Draco’s ass. Blaise shook his head with a smile and told her off. And before we knew it, Draco was back.

“What’s so funny?” He asked, tilting his head as he handed out glasses. I picked mine up from the placemat where he had placed it. The liquid is clear and slightly cold.

“Nothing, nothing.” Blaise chuckles, receiving a raised eyebrow from Draco. I sipped my glass quietly and when it tasted plain, I frowned.

I looked up at my brother and lifted my glass to eye level. “Draco. What is this?” I tilt my head.

“Your drink.” He replied with a shrug. I investigated the glass and back up at him.

“Draco, its water.” I put it back down on the table and crossed my arms. “I’m not drinking this.”

Draco shrugged and Blaise let out a laugh. “What your sisters not allowed a little bit of the good stuff, Malfoy?”

Draco glared at Blaise, and I looked at Theo, whose eyes were on me. “She doesn’t need one. Water will be fine.”

“She’s sixteen, Draco,” Pansy said with a confused tone. “Why can’t she have a drink?”

“She’s just too young, alright?” Draco snapped, sitting back down in his armchair.

“You two are twins.” Theodore frowned and leaned forward into the chair. “Two minutes difference-”

“Is a lot.” He replied, cutting Theo off. “She’s just too young and she won’t know how to handle it. If she gets drunk, she’s not going to be fun.”

I scoffed, now sitting up straighter and uncrossing my arms. [Were the same age. Your only two minutes difference. I’m not a child.]

“She’s right Draco. She’s not going to be able to experience it and know what to do when she goes back to Hogwarts.” Theo replies with a gesture to me.

Draco let out a loud scoff and adjusted himself in his seat. “That’s enough. I’ll say what’s good for my sister.” He took a sip of his whiskey before continuing. “And that is she doesn’t get drunk.”

I rolled my eyes and stood. I headed downstairs and towards the kitchen, tipping out the water and placing the glass on the counter. “Bloody tell me what I’m allowed to do.” I scoff, talking to myself.

“Hey-” A soft voice squeaks from behind me. I spin around almost bumping into Theodore. He stood still, holding his drink in his hand. “You alright?” He asked.

“Fine.” I nod, letting my eyes drift away from him. He steps forward and hands me his glass. I frowned and looked up at him.

“You can have some. A little won’t hurt.” He says with a calm smile. I nodded and put it up to my lips, sipping a bit at a time. “He shouldn’t be so hard on you. But I know he means the best.”

I shrugged and handed his glass back to him. “Do I look like a little girl to you, Theodore?” I frown and took some cranberry juice out of the fridge, pouring myself a glass.

I saw him swallow slightly and shrug, turning his gaze to the floor. I had made him uncomfortable with my word choice. I sighed and sat the bottle on the bench. I stepped closer and wrapped my arms around his waist and felt his arms fold around my shoulders.

I sighed into his chest, warm and his scent all over his clothes. “I’m sure he’ll come around one day. He’ll have to accept the fact you’re not going to be so young forever. One day you have to start doing new things and experiences, otherwise, you’ll get into the world with unknown knowledge and responsibilities.” Theo whispered while we hugged and then I felt him pull away.

I looked up at him and chuckled at the sight of my juice. “Don’t pick on my juice.” I frowned playfully. I took my glass and walked back with him.

“Draco’s love for Green apples and your love for cranberries.” He smiled slightly at me.

I shrugged and took a sip. “And strawberries. But what can I say, it's lovely.” I replied, just as we walked back into the room. I took a seat where I was sitting, and Pansy had moved to sit on Draco’s knee. She was already complimenting him and allowing him to grab her ass. Daphne was still cozy on Blaise’s lap.

I sat and watched Theo as he sat next to me. Back already from the bathroom?” Draco tilted his head.

I saw Theo nod out of the corner of my eye and I smiled to myself knowing he lied to come to me in the kitchen. Of course, it meant nothing and I’m sure he meant nothing by it. Theodore had always been a good friend of my brothers and when we all began hanging out, he became mine, aswell.

Theo reaches for the whiskey bottle which was now placed on the table in front of us all. He casually poured himself a refill before placing it back. I looked over at pansy, twirling my brothers' locks between her fingers, and questioned how relaxing it would be to play with Theodore's curls. He caught himself staring at them and whispered. “I think Pansy’s room might be empty tonight, don’t you?” He chuckled.

I frowned slightly, looking at Theo and tilted my head confused. “What do you mean?” He moved slightly closer and smirked.

“Pansy might be in someone else’s bed. Don’t tell me you’re that innocent to understand, Katrina.” He jokingly laughs and I gulp slightly. I look back and my brother, his hand still on her ass. I was sure they had been sleeping together for a while now, but it wasn’t something we would talk about. Even pansy spared details of her life, which I was quite thankful for.

“Oh- right.” I nodded, forcing a small laugh. I looked back at him, and he turned his back to Draco aswell as the rest and sipped his drink. He slowly handed it to me, and I looked over his shoulder to make sure they weren’t looking before taking a sip.

I smiled softly and he chuckled softly. “Careful Katrina, we don’t want you drunk.” He whispers. I played with my dress, the material black and flowy. “Are you alright?”

I looked back up at him and sighed. “Pansy’s all over my brother and hes having a good time, yet im not allowed one drink. Like what about what I want?” I frown.

He nods and shrugs. “Well, tell me. I looked at his confused as he moved his arm along the couch behind me, causing me to blush slightly. “Tell me what you want, Katherine.”
