Chapter 1
The White Flame
I ran as fast as I could, following behind me was Amber. She had short black hair and blue eyes. We are elemental benders, you probably heard of it, if you haven’t it is basically moving things with your mind.I am an Airbender. Though Amber is a fire bender. We were running from the second monster today, but that is regular. I tried to use the air to push him back, though it was harder if you haven’t meditated yet today.
“We got this Asher,” she said. Okay, I thought just a little monster. It cannot be that bad.
You wouldn’t believe what happened next even if I told you. I stopped running and started meditating, the wind picked up and I started to float.
“Oh no what have you done now,” she said. “I am trying to get rid of this monster can’t you tell!”Then I started to hear whispers. All of a sudden a huge gust of wind blew the monster off its feet. Then suddenly there was a tornado. My eyes turned WHITE And I saw this vision of the White Flame.
The fire crackled around me. “W-where am I” I asked. No one answered, the flame was everywhere.”Wait this isn’t the afterlife is it.”
“No,” a raspy deep voice said. “This is a dream.”
“Who are you” I asked,
“Saroflask,” she said. “I am here to tell you something. You will meet a little girl on your quest, her name is-, ”her voice disappeared and I woke up and my vision cleared.
“How long was I out?”I asked. “5 hours”, she said. I looked around me, it seemed like we were in a junkyard. “We got to keep moving,” I said. While we were walking out of the junkyard a girl screamed
“NO MORE MONSTERS!”And charged at us with a hammer.
“We aren’t monsters,” I screamed as I threw my hands up.” Oops,” she said. Sorry um, my name is rose.”She had red hair and green eyes.
I thought about the dream I had earlier., she might have been the little girl Saroflask was talking about. “Wait,” I asked,” Have you ever heard of Saroflask”
“Who, my mom?” she said,”
“She is your MOM!?”
“ Asher, what are you talking about?”Amber said. And where have you heard of Saroflask.”
A dream, I said.” Anyway Rose, we are trying to save the planet before the fire benders are the only benders and they take over the world. I am the last Airbender and My quest was to take down the fire benders so they would surrender. They also have kidnapped my father and trapped him somewhere in new york.
” Wait but Isn’t Amber a Firebender,” Rose said as she stepped back.” well no, you see Amber did not want to be part of the Firebenders army.“Okay.” “Anyways time to resume the quest are you coming with,” I asked.”Yep,”
A few days later, we were in New York. “Oh and Asher I forgot to ask... what type of Bender are you?”
I am an Air bender. What type of Bender are you? “Water,” she said. Okay, I may have been a little bit wrong, but she does look like an Earthbender. Well at least from what I’ve seen. “Did you grow up with your mom?” Amber asked. “Or is it kind of like Rick Riordan’s books?”
“I do not know who Rick Riordan is, but, no I did not grow up with my mom. That’s why I don’t like her that much.”
“Okay,” Amber said. “Is she like a god or something?” I asked.
“Yep, she’s one of the old Cavin gods.”
Then the ground started shaking, the winds started howling.”Asher what are you doing” Amber asked.
”That’s not me. RUN!” There were so many Firebenders,”It’s an ambush!” We started to fend them off, but there were too many. I started to meditate, so did Amber. I tried to make a tornado, but something was messing with it. When I opened my eyes Amber was apparently meditating and her eyes were blazing white. I started to do the same and soon there was a flamado. A flamado is a fiery tornado. Except this flamado was White.Ugh, the white flame. Now I get it, this was the white flame.
”Asher do not mess this up.” A voice said in my head. “Amber is that really you. Yep, I do not know how I did it but I did and now we are making a fiery tornado. I opened my eyes all the Firebenders were gone. All you could see was ripped apart apartments.” We got them Rose said”.we sent them to rarmados.
After that, we freed my father and he was very surprised we beat the guards. He looked like he had just touched the sun. We went back home and lived happily ever after.
