Do vazio os deuses emergem e criam. E criam os anjos, de onde surgem os demônios. O equilíbrio tão desejado não se mostra, e um imensa guerra eclode. Então se criam pessoas de poder, e novamente o tão desejado equilíbrio não surge, que também não surge quando os homens são criados. A criação manifestando em si a essência do criador. Na sexta era explode uma guerra tão vasta que ameaça engolfar todo o planeta, que foi chamada de “a guerra dosvivos”. O tempo se estica, tanto que as memórias se confundem e o passado se faz lenda, e a maioria dos vivos acabam se esquecendo. Isto estava assim, até que rumores são ouvidos vindos do oeste, onde algo sombrio se move. Os muito antigos desconfiam do que pode ser, e seus corações se tornam pesados, porque há certas dores que o tempo não consegue curar. Mas, também sabem que há certas coisas que não podem ser ignoradas, sob o risco colocar em perigo todo o mundo criado. E os espiões que retornam os obrigam a encarar todo o antigo terror, confirmando que são os mesmos inimigos de uma guerra muito antiga. Eles sabem que, agora, as forças envolvidas serão ainda maiores. Anjos, caiporas, angoeras, nefelins, pumacayas, dahrs, flores-do-mato, mães-da-mata e outros seres mágicos se organizam para fazer frente aos demônios, que tiveram muito tempo para se prepararem. E todos sabem que essa guerra, que está para começar já estava profetizada.
