Chapter 1
I was in the garden picking flowers. This was a daily occurrence for me since my brother works a lot, he still makes time for me though.
My brother and I are really close, we lost our parents when he was only 4 and I was just a newborn. Ever since we have been inseparable .
He was the one that was always there for me when I got sick or needed help and me for him too. We've always been able to rely on each other.
But one thing I've noticed is how people look at him, they always fear him.
Even I get treat like some sort of queen when I do go out to do anything.
As I was thinking I noticed a Flash coming towards me.
You might be wondering who Flash is, he's been keeping me company when my brother works I found him all alone in the woods once.
I never told the bodyguards or my brother since they firmly always tell me never to set foot in the forest going on about how much of a 'danger' it is.
I was only bored one night and decided to have a midnight walk and see what I could find. I've always been curious about this forest and why my brother hates the fact of me going into it.
The first time I decided to go into the forest to try and see what it was all about I noticed a fox he seemed scared at first but ever since I've been feeding him and playing with him he seems to be way more comfortable around me.
"Are you hungry?" I ask Flash in a soft tone as I rub his head softly as he barks.
Knowing that I was indeed right and that he was hungry I decide to quickly get up from the ground from and head into the kitchen.
I went to search my fridge for some steak, I swear we had some in yesterday unless my brother ate it or took it with him to work.
Deciding that there definitely wasn't any steak to give the fox I just grabbed the chicken leg.
Before I left the back door I could hear the keys turning in the front door.
He's back I thought.
I didn't even let myself think anymore of it before slamming the fridge and rushing out the door so my brother doesn't see me and asks why I'm stood with a chicken leg in my hand.
As I go outside I spot Flash still next to the flowers, I run up to him with the chicken leg and gently placed it in front of him so he's able to eat it.
"My brothers back now, I need to go and see to him." I said to Flash while giving a kiss on his head before running in the house.
But what I saw shocked me.
