What is your opinion?

Job well done!!

"Like with his previous book 'Heart in a jar', Baden jumps between 'inner voice and reality' (if I can call it this) too much in the first three chapters of this book. This confused me and lost my attention in the first few pages. I must add that I'm used to academic writing, which is more factual and up to the point. From chapter 5 onwards, the storyline became more fluent and easy to read, especially with the inclusion of a bit more background to each scenario and character. I would suggest double-checking spelling mistakes before publishing, it was mostly just typos that I saw. Overall, the plot was well thought out and kept me intrigued all the way up to the end. Your writing is improving with every output, and I can't wait to read the next. Job well done! "

The many deaths of Callum Striker

"I absolutely love this. I will recommend to my son. He is a big HP Lovecraft and Stephen (the) King fan and I know this will be right up his alley. Suspenseful storyline with absolutely horror filled and terrifying scenes. This was a great read. Thank you"

Wowzers

"I don't really read thrillers but once I started reading it, I had to know how it ended. Finished it all in one sitting. Just couldn't put it down. I was a bit confused in the beginning, but past Chapter 5 I was starting to get a real feel & picture of all the characters and wondering how they all fit together. I am still sitting here thinking, what the hell did I just read! but I was hooked and would love to read more. Very creative and dark."

An extensive work on a modern, complex topic!

"The Many Deaths of Callum Striker by Baden Campbell Young adult Callum Striker is messed up, but after the reader gets used to that, it serves the story, which unfolds far beyond the simple mental health cliche. Characters, like Dr. Julie Weizmann, Susanne, and Becca reach us in a oft skillfully written way of what they are really about, and how tragic Callum perceived them. On date of reviewing eight chapters were written, and this was the longest & most extensive work by Baden Campbell on Inkitt. While I find it, personal gusto, a notch lengthy, the story does work & the writing builds its own flow and suspense, so it is no failure on side of the author. Contrary to `Heart in a Jar´ & `The Boy with the Blue Dragon Skates´, this story should be read without pressure of time, as then it really allows us readers to get the most from reading it. Also: Kudos for the way of reminding that `homophobia´ often IS a biased overreaction."

I laughted through the entire book

"Not saying that this book is a joke. But for what is labeled a horror it was more like a dark comedy. Because the main character is so MESSED UP. Especially in the first two chapters. My favorite chapter in the book was chapter 6 and would tell everyone that if they can get there they struck gold. It's amazing to read the story and can't wait for it to be updated more."

I don’t read many horror books, but I found this one intriguing. The story was fast paced and there was no time to get bored during it. There were plenty of well-written brutal, violent scary scenes that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. The story had an interesting plot twist and ending that I hadn’t seen coming.
