Perfect Deception

"This is a very nice story! So far I'm really enjoying it. He's rude at first but once you get into the story you understand why but he starts to unravel and you see his kind/softer side. ☺️"

❤❤❤❤

"I enjoyed this story. There were a few things that annoyed me though... Chad/Charles/Rick/Richard... Yes, all the sane person, but there was no link to how he had those names, is his full name Richard Charles? I either over read that at some point, or it wasn't confirmed, But Annie never asked the question either. Another thing that annoyed me was when Annie would call him "Mr Lawson", even when they were dating, I found that quite odd, as the context it was in didn't sound like it was in an endearing/flirty way. Putting those things aside, I did like this story and will read the 2nd. Thanks 💋 10/04/2022"

I just can't

"Full of spoilers allert! The idea might be interesting but I just can't read the mess anymore. Annie, the main character, is supposed to be 24ish mother in the beginning of the story but she behaves and has thought processes of a 15yo. Wnd rather stupid and selfcentered at that. The story has no logical plot whatsoever - it's not like a rope made of entwined ideas but more like a blob of playdoh stabbed with idea sticks in a random matter. Any drama that just popped in the author's mind just manifested in the story, no matter anything that was established before. Annie hints on the fact that Mr. Lawson looks familiar but she does not recognize her lover and father of her daughter?! Like really? You want to say that adult person changes so radically in 6 years?! Also, Mr. Lawson hires her because he's on a wheelchair, but he's able to stand up just to punch his former best friend? Zoe faints and goes to hospital and a year later she's getting better even if there was nothing bad with her, just being tired? One day a terapist says that Mr. Lawson doesn't want a surgery for his leg but needs to execise more to get better anyway, during the examination he's able to stand only for 10 seconds, but the next day goes for a stroll (to exercise of course) and it turns out into 4 miles walk?! Then he goes to Japan for his surgery which lasts for over an hour and then he just walks out of the hospital better as new! Like do they have star trek level of medical knowledge and technology in Japan?! Aaaargh! It's impossible to imagine a time line of the story when tye author contradicts herself most of the time. Like Annie got pregnant at 18, her daughter is 5/6 at the beginning of the story. First she is sure that the father is Rick, then a one night stand is trewn into the mix when Rick stopped sending letters (like real, paper letters) - which was marked as an exact date (like really? How do you know the exact date when someone stops sending you letters?) that had to be pretty soon after Annie and Rick parted ways otherwise there would never be a confusion about paternity. Mr. Lawson supposedly had his accident 2-3 years before the start of the story (so Zoe was 2 or 3) but the accident was supposed to be the reason for stopping writing the letters! Annie worker for Mr. Lawson (who apparently has 3 or 4 first names) for over a year, possibly 2, but everything is still 2-3 years ago. Aaargh! And the terrible level of English is just the cherry on top (I'd be forgiving of that if the story wasn't so bad). Oh, and clearly the diving of chapters was editted since the comments don't match what happens in them. And during the editation some chapters went missing so you never find out how or when Mr. Lawson and Annie got together. But that's just the least of worries here. So no, I did not finish reading the story. Good luck to anyone who tries to do so."
