My body was frozen, with no strength to move.
It felt heavy..
As if I were lead.
I was surrounded by darkness.
Deep in the water, not knowing where I was even facing.
This lonesome feeling.
Even in death I couldn’t escape it.
I looked where I presumed was up and there was nothing there.
Not even a slimmer of light pierced through the darkness
I was too tired to even chuckle and simply battered my eyes at the sight.
My eyes blinked once,
Then twice,
Then three times..
However the third time would be the last time I’d ever open my eyes again..

My final thoughts were simply,
‘Ah.. So this is how my life will end. How pathetic..’
