Two Worlds in Love

There are many things in this world that people don’t understand, for example, history, greek gods, vampires, wolves, science, space, and many other things. I really didn’t understand it either until the out brakes and the attacks on humans. It started a few months ago. It started with suspicious attacks on people coming out of bars late at night or teens sneaking out at night to see their friends. The victims were found bitten and drained of blood. This went on for weeks until the attacks started to be on people’s houses. I really didn’t think too much about the attacks until my family and I were attacked.

(One Hour and Thirty minutes before)

I sat in the dining room waiting for her majesty to stop yelling at me and accusing me of things I had no control over. My name is Jackson Miles, I was born May 31, 2005. Currently, I am being yelled at by my stepmom, for the toothpaste that’s smeared all over the bathroom counter. She stares at me with a murderous look, that sent my anxiety through the roof and I start to cower at her presents.

“Why can’t you do anything right?” she screamed

“I know it was you! My kids wouldn’t do something like this because they know better!” she continued

I start to feel tears rolling down my face and my body starts to shake. I look over at my dad hoping he would disagree and told her that she needs to calmly ask me if I did it but instead all I got were glares and disappointed looks from him. He always takes her side, and I am left feeling useless. It took about an hour before they left the room and me alone. They shut the door behind them, and me from the outside world with a broken spirit. It was a while before I whipped my tears and brushed myself off. I looked at the camera that was facing me and had the sudden temptation to give it the middle finger knowing that my stepmom was watching. That’s when I heard the banging sound it was coming from outside I look towards the window only not to be able to see anything beyond the blinds that made the room darker than the rest of the house this is how it has been for a while, it’s been days since I have gone outside in the fresh air and warm, bright sun. I looked down at the table in front of me only to shoot my head up again to the sound of something crashing through the window. Scared, I got under the table to hide. After the dust and dupery cleared the air I peek up at the window only to be pulled back down by a large pair of hands scared I yelp and look who was behind me.

“ Shhh,” my dad said

“ Take your sister and run,” he said

When I was going to ask him why a booming voice rang through the house.

“ come on out humans you can’t survive this”

I look at my dad, he hands me Grace and some bags, running off into the kitchen. I didn’t stop to find out what he was doing. Instead, I ran with my sister on my back. I ran into the woods and found a river to cross hiding. Our scent was masked as long as we stayed in the river. hours went by of me walking through the river until I found a cave. I made sure it wasn’t inhabited before settling down.
