Chapter 1: Echoes in the Snow

The tender embrace of the night, cool and cloudy, a gentle breeze whispers tales of old to a young heart bathed in the ethereal glow of moonlight. Elea Gray, a solitary figure in her backyard, stands amidst a silent ballet of snowflakes.

Each one, a unique masterpiece, twirls and dances in the air before landing softly on her hair and shoulders, adorning her white coat with a pristine blanket of winter’s kiss.

Beneath the tender embrace of the night, a young flamingo, yet to reach its prime, ventures into the snow-covered backyard. The flamingo, a symbol of youth and curiosity, forages for food amidst the snow, a testament to life’s resilience against the biting cold. The backyard, a silent sanctuary, echoes only with the soft rustling of snowflakes and the occasional flutter of the flamingo’s wings.

Elea, dressed in a gown as white as the winter’s first snow, sits at a piano in a dimly lit room. The room, vast and open, a relic of the past, is filled with antiques, the walls and floors adorned with intricate carvings that tell tales of a bygone era. The room, bathed in the soft glow of a solitary chandelier, casts long shadows that sway rhythmically to Elea’s melody.

A grand window, serving as a gateway to an enchanting realm, unveils a charming backyard swathed in a blanket of snow. Snowflakes, each a distinct work of art, perform a ballet in the air, twirling through the open window to alight gently on Elea’s shoulders. Each snowflake, a mirror of the past, reflects fragments of Elea’s journey.

She remembers the icy sting of life’s unfairness, the harsh reality that forced her to endure the solitude. Yet, she endures, her face a solemn mask of stoicism, hiding a well of sadness.

Amidst the silent ballet of snowflakes and the soft melody of her piano, Elea finds solace, her spirit as resilient and beautiful as the winter’s first snow.

Her slender, elegant fingers dance on the keys, coaxing a melody from the piano. Each note, a testament to her raw emotion, makes the piano sing with a poignant harmony that resonates within the room.

The aroma of white gardenias wafts into the chilly air above the snow-covered yard, a fragrant reminder of spring’s promise. The melodious notes from the piano linger, unanswered echoes in the forbidden chamber.

With dirt slipping through her fingers, she grapples with the complexities of the world. The piano resounds, but without a response from the world. Is she still playing, still yearning for a world that’s just and fair?

The answer isn’t about the obsession towards that unfulfilled love. Who, from afar, dares to confuse, how to judge this mundane world and the past?
