Chapter 1
The reposeful reverberation and stillness of the placid waves, rushing calmly against her feet, burying her toes deeply inside the sand, reassuringly immersed her mind in complete tranquility. Sending a slight chill down her spine and forcing her body to jerk as an effect of the freezing cold water repeatedly gushing against her feet. Her light blue eyes peered merrily at the moving ocean, adding to her serene gaze at the ocean waves gliding against her feet and hands now gapingly concealed inside the sand. She raised her head high, pivoting her neck from left to right and continuously looking for anyone to come. When she noticed no sign of human or any far away presence, she slowly arose from her seat and stood high. With her legs shaking at the weight of her body and her sand filled swimming suit hanging down the ground, straining her upper arm along with her feet even more.
She sighed heavily, taking a deep breath in and out, inhaling and exhaling her stomach, with her lungs extending from her tight swimming suit looking like it's about to pop. A small grin appeared unto her face as she from top to bottom watched as the ocean waves began to rise higher in the now growing high tide. She tilted her head around, checking if anyone's coming, turned her neck back to it's original position and sat on the wet muddy sand seeping with the oceans water. In contentment she watched as the ocean faintly whispers her name, Over and over again it chanted 'Sam' 'Sam' 'Sam' as the waves grew high and mighty with the water rushing up on shore. She somehow felt at ease as the water touched every tiny hair plastered on her skin.
Tightly she closed her puffy blue eyes, taking in every peaceful sound the ocean gifted her. Is this peace? Is this how it feels to be happy? She opened her eyes once again, gazing intensely at the ocean that seemed to over and over again splash up onto her feet. Life somehow seemed to have a meaning. A purpose to live. And a reason to die. She thought. A peace like this will never last long. Especially now in a world filed with evil and monsters like this one. I bet as soon as the sun rises those demons called people would come out and litter this beautiful beach once again.
Her eyes fluttered with a spark as the ocean once more went relaxed, back to it's normal and restful state. she could hear it. The cry of the fishes and animals who died at the hands of humans. She could see it. The ocean filled with plastic and garbage humans threw in the sea. The ocean was crying, begging for humans to stop abusing it. Cold bumps and shivers then slithered up her pale white skin as she imagined all the cruel stuff the poor animals experienced because of people. Why did I have to be born like those demons? Why couldn't I be born in the ocean where I could be happy? I hate it. I hate it.
Tears suddenly started flowing from her light blue eyes, Slowly dripping down unto her quivering hands and running through the gaps in between her fingers. Her feet was shaking and body was rocking back and forth. I hate it. I hate it. Over and over again she whispered. Scratching her skin that was now covered with bruises and scars due to the rocks that poked holes into her skin, along with mosquitoes brutally sucking her blood even when she tried to kill them. I wanna be with the ocean. I wanna be with him. Once again she muttered rocking her body even faster back and forth and forth to back. She slowly began to lose her voice. Her body was numb and she couldn't feel pain anymore.
She promptly came to light and emerged from where she was sitting. She took a step forward and began to walk toward the ocean. I'm gonna be with him. She once again uttered, now ambling even closely toward the waves in front of her. One step turned to two. Two step turned to three. Three step turned to four, until suddenly she found herself deep inside the ocean, with the water covering her feet up to her neck. She closed her eyes and dazed into the night sky, watching for the first and last time the stars twinkling brightly in front of her smiling face.
She closed her eyes and let the waves take her away, whispering her last worlds.
"*Finally I'm home again.*"
