Chapter 1!
I shivered as the scratchy blanket slid down my neck allowing rain to claw at my body.Happy 18th to me!Another day I guesss always the same,try and find a job they turn you down,try and beg for money no one helps,and finally find shelter for the night.
I mean it wasn't always like this I had a loving family I remember my mums laughter whilst my dad told stupid jokes,and my sister rolling her eyes whilst secretly giggling too;I always wanted to find my parents everlasting love with someone I could spend the rest of my life with.
However I never got the chance as my whole world was torn apart on that night all because of some malicious wolfs!It wasn't fair I was supposed to be there I could of helped if only I hadn't finished my homework at school.I could have called for help!I could be in my house right now watching TV with my family all laughing at silly shows and throwing popcorn around like we would do on Friday nights.
If I just went home first thing my family wouldn't be dead and I would never had to go to that foster house with that horrible man who laugh at my pain and only caused more.
A sob ripped out of my throat as I thought about that moment he would never stop hitting,punching,kicking you name it he did it.But hey I deservered it I killed my own family with my selfishness!
Soon the feelings were too overwhelming but I'm safe!I think am I?God I need some air I feel like I'm suffocating!
Quickly moving from my sitting position off my soggy cardboard and thin sleeping bag.I sprinted off in the rain as it wormed itself inside my scraggy clothing.I need to escape this is to much I'm a monster I deserve everything bad that will happen to me and-
Ouch!God my head hurts.I think I fell into a wall but how I was running on the pavement.Is that blood???I hate blood no no no n-
"Oh honey are you okay?You took quite a fall!"
Looking up whilst tears springed to my eyes their stood an older lady than me,she was very beautiful with a model like face wearing a purple sweater and jeans which fit her perfectly with a concerned expression.Why was she looking at me?I was nothing important but I do feel dizzy maybe I'm imaging things?
"Honey?I'm sorry I didn't see you do you want a hand up,let's get you inside and check that head of yours"She said whilst offering a hand directly to me.
Could I trust her?Would she hurt me?Is she-I gasped as a hand plucked me up keeping me steady as I swayed side to side I do not feel good!
"Come on I'll patch you up in my cafe"She said as she entered a quaint little cafe that smelt of coffee and cinnamon.God I'm hungry when did I last eat the rumbling of my stomach did not help as the lady perched me on a seat whilst grabbing a first aid kit.
Everything was hurting when was the pain going to stop!My body shook as termors of pain danced across my body a groan slipped out as I touched my head..blood lots of blood.
What was that noise?
"Honey?Honey?"The lady said as she moved my head upwards.
"There you are!Thought I lost you!"She said in a joking manner making me crack a small smile towards her trying to lighten the mood,she was nice.
"Now I am going to find my son Xander and he is going to take you to the pac-I mean the private hospital we have.Okay?"She said nervously,that was werid.
"Ok-okay"I stuttered out.Jesus Lara way to go the first new friend and you can't even speak normally!
"Okay good let me just go get him he'll be around here somewhere,and don't be scared of him honey he may be big and he might seem a bit cold but he's like a Teddy bear really!"She said making the turn of my lips slightly frown.I wasn't really fond of men in general all they did was hurt me....
Suddenly a raspy voice spoke making me turn around in anticipation;although I have no reason why but his voice called out to me,liked something clicked.
"A teddy bear huh?"
Oh my god.
