The Tree of Blood
"I haven't finished the book yet. Or wherever it is up to so far. But I can tell you right now, that I am crying in my bed because Caelen just found out about the child and decided to marry Seraphine to spite Sebastian. This hurts so much, but I am totally on Caelen's side throughout the entire ordeal because, indefinitely, HE is victim in this play. And although his role has changed, he needs to keep the show rolling no matter what, cause it's the only way he feels he'll receive justice... I support Seraphine and Sebastian, but I'm with Caelen. It's all Seraphine's fault: should've just told Caelen in the beginning. He could've helped her with Sebastian, maybe even been the kind gentleman he truly is by getting them together and burrowing his emotions away, 'cause that's just the person that he is. But not even I would expect him to do it after finding out his fiancé, the woman he loves, bears another man's child. I hope Seraphine and the baby are protected in the future, but I still want justice for Caelen... *weeps silently* To the author - Never stop writing, reading or dreaming. Phoenix"

"19th Century England - This is my passion. I love to read books, describing and depicting events from 17th 18th or 19th centuries. Sometimes I think I am an old soul, trapped in 21st century. I really loved "The Tree of Blood". The name itself speaks for the book. Though so much blood is shed, the love remains love - one of the most powerful and influential things in human being's life. The love of Sebastian and Seraphine is higher and bigger than anything else in this world. They both choose to fight for their love and that is the most important thing."
Romantic tragedy
"Don't expect a Disney "happily ever after". The tragic beginning and ending of the initial characters will have you reeling in sadness. Well written and captivating until the end. "

"In the beginning, I thought that this story was going to be very easily read. And I mean predictable. Vampire stories are often that way, but not so much with this one. I will admit the first three chapters were new and exciting. The next two chapters set the scene, and chapters five and six damn near bored me. But I kept moving, and I am so glad that I did. Two generations of three different families made for a very entertaining read. The author made it a point to divide the book into separate point of views so it would be easy to follow. Though, it took at least two paragraphs to grasp who was speaking. I would suggest actually naming each part after the character so no one is confused. Sebastian is ruthless in his love for Seraphine. Seraphine is hell bent on pleasing her father, regardless of her feelings. We all know that this is a recipe for disaster. Continue to read and let the disaster play out. I promise you will love it. The ending happens a few chapters before it actually does. Basically, you see it coming. But all in all a very well written story. Aside from the story, both the grammar and punctuation need work in lots of places. Work with an editor, and you will have a winner. Loved your work and will praise it."
