MY GARDEN
I will build a beautiful garden.
It will have green-green grass.
I will put pathways of cobblestone to walk bare-footed on.
Its trees will have a variety of sweet-sweet fruits.
I will call birds into my garden so they can fill it with song.
I will draw a path for a babbling brook,
And crystal-clear water will flow in a river nearby.
There will be fish, and there will be frogs and tadpoles.
There will also be dragonflies and butterflies.
My garden will be alive.
And when she finally appears before the scented flowers,
To look at what I am building,
Then I will take her hand and never let go.
