Winter's POV

"Bye babe, I'll see you after I get home from work! " I yell out to my boyfriend before leaving my apartment.

I get into the elevator and press the button for the parking garage and I can't help fidget with my rose gold ring on my middle finger, a nervous tick of mine.

Today is my first day at my first job ever and I'm not exaggerating, I have never worked a day in my life but that's not the point.

The point is I'm finally starting my life as an independent individual and I can't screw it up or I'll have to work at my parents publishing company back in France and I would rather die than work there with them.

The elevator opens and I step out and start the short walk to my baby Roman, he was a graduation present from my parents and I find almost every excuse to drive him cause I love him so much.

He's a Mercedes Benz Vision EQS which means he gets a lot of attention from people, both good and bad.

Now that I think about it, I'm not so sure it's a good idea to drive him to my new job in case people try to steal him or something or worse, scratch him. I get shivers just thinking about it.

Pushing all negative thoughts aside, I get into Roman and drive out of the lot and onto the streets of LA.

I pull up to the parking lot of Marina High School and take a deep breath to calm my nerves.

I can see teachers and students staring at Roman like he's a piece of meat and I bet he loves the attention as much as I do but then I remember that they could scratch him and I want to get out and yell at them to go away but I remind myself that it's my first day and I need this job.

I'm working as the new sex education and French teacher and I can just imagine all the comments I'll be getting from the horny boys and girls. Technically I'm the substitute French teacher until they get a new one.

I get out of my car and the eyes that were previously on Roman fall on me and I revel in the attention. I'm beautiful and I know it so I don't see anything wrong in people acknowledging it as well.

I walk into the school building and everywhere I turn, people part like the motherfucking red sea. It's true when they say the best thing a woman can wear is her confidence.

I walk to the office to meet with the principal as she had instructed me to when she gave me the job but I was told to sit in the waiting area until she was done with her current appointment.

This is the second time I've had to wait for something, the first being the interview, can't say I like it much.

I look around the waiting area and see one other person there, a really attractive male who looks bored out of his mind as he plays with his lip piercing.

I take a seat on the chair by the corner which is two chairs from him and pull out my phone to pass the time.

We seat in silence for a minute until he starts tapping his feet on the floor. I try to ignore him but it seems the harder I try to ignore him, the louder he gets.

“Would you stop doing that? It's very annoying. ” I snap at him, my French accent coming out a little.

“I wanted your attention but you were ignoring me. ” He says like its a logical reason.

“And you couldn't just say hi? ” I ask sarcastically.

“It's to boring. ” He responds standing up from his seat and walking over to the one next to me and sat down on it. “What's your name beautiful? ” He asks in a tone that I'm sure has most girls flocking around him.

“Winter and in case you're trying to flirt with me, don't. I don't screw minors. ” I replied trying to end this conversation.

“Well then I'm in luck, I just turned 19 so I'm no where near being a minor. ” He says with a cocky smirk on his face and I can't help but to roll my eyes.

“Alright, let me rephrase that, I don't fuck my students so go back to where you came from cause I'm not interested. ” I say and return my attention to my phone.

“Wait, you're a teacher? ” He asked shocked.

“No, I'm sister Theresa sent from the nunnery to wash away your sins. ” I say with an eye roll.

“You can bathe me in your holy water anytime you want. ” He said and I can't help but crack a smile at that. “I didn't think it was possible but you found a way to look even more stunning than you already are. ” He says.

Is this guy for real? I think to myself as my smile broadens a little bit. “You're good but I have a boyfriend and like I said before, I don't screw students. ”

He goes to respond but the desk lady speaks up before he can. “Axel, principal Montgomery will see you now. ”

He gets up after that, throwing a wink at me before entering the office and leaving me to be sucked in by boredom.

He comes out soon after and it's my turn to see the principal.

She goes over the whole welcome speech, the rules, the syllabi and what not before she calls the gym teacher Mr O'Bryan to show me around the school.

He hits on me constantly and it's quite annoying but I keep repeating it's my first day over and over again in my head to keep myself from snapping at him.

It's funny, he's a grown ass man and yet a 19 year old has better game than him.

He finally sets me free at my office to get settled in before my first class which starts at 11.

The day just started and I'm already begging for it to end.
