Prolouge

A man stands below the lifeless corpse that was once his love, his hand applying pressure to his side. Blood seeping into the carpet but he takes no notice. He continues to stare at the corpse, hanging by a rope in horror. “All my fault...All my fault...All my fault...” he whispers. He begins to cry and yell the same thing over and over again. “It’s all my FAULT!...ALL MY FAULT!...ALL MY FAULT” he says as falls to his knees, the carpet making a wet sound. His bloody hands reach his face and he cries into them. He continues to cry as a concerned neighbor knocks on the door. “Joseph? Are you there? What’s going on in there? Is anybody hurt?”

The concerned neighbor asks, trying the locked door knob. The man didn’t respond and instead grabbed a glass shard and looked at it, his hand prints smearing the already bloodied shard. “Joseph? Are you there?″the concerned neighbor asks, this time her voice coming from the back door. The neighbor tries the knob and finds it unlocked and enters the house. She walks in and sees Joseph, his back towards her, kneeling over the hanging corpse. Joseph slowly turns around and says, “It was all my fault Sally…All my fault...” and slices his throat with the glass shard, his blood seeping down his front end.

The neighbor slams into the wall, and screams. She looks away and gags. She vomits and falls to the ground. She tries to get up but instead falls back down again. After a moment, she’s able to crawl up the wall, using it to support her as she stumbles out the door. She tries to yell for help but her voice isn’t working anymore. She manages to stumble out in the street and there her voice begins to work again. She screams, “OH SOMEBODY! HEEEEEEEEEELP!” and then faints, right in the middle of the empty street.

People come out of their homes, only to find Sally passed out in the street. Someone took their phone out and called the police and the others came to check on her. Sally came to, right when the police arrived. She got up and rushed to the cop, telling him frantically that Joseph needs help, go help Joseph! The cop went in and in a few minutes he came out and vomited, right in front of the crowd that surrounded Joseph’s front yard. He then ran to his car and called for back-up.

Sally went over her story over and over to five or six police officers. She went over how she heard yelling and how she went and knocked, asking if everything was alright. She went over again how she went through the back and saw Joseph covered in blood and how he raised the piece of glass and slit his throat with it. After the police said she was free to go, she went back in her house and cried. She cried for Joseph, hoping he was finally at peace. She dried her eyes and thought about that bitch. The bitch who made Joseph's life a living hell. It was horrible how she treated him. Horrible. She hoped that bitch was rotting in hell.

The coroner finished stitching on Joseph's chest. The man was obviously starved and his dental work was horrible. Several teeth were missing and from the looks at it, somebody yanked it out forcefully. His nose looks like it has been set crudely by someone. The wound on his side looks like he's been stabbed by a flat head. Someone is knocking and the coroner opens the door.

"Here's the blood samples you asked for." Alice says. Alice is the coroner's assistant and occasional lover. "Ah. Thank you love. Anything interesting?"

"Well, he had morphine in his system and from the looks of it, alot of it." she says and sits in one of the chairs.

"Well, that would explain the puncture marks here", he prods the corpse's left arm, "and here."

"So what do you think happened?" she asked the coroner.

"I think we might have a victim of abuse. Just look at the bruises on his chest." he says, Alice leaning over to get a better look.

"And on his back," the corner continues, grabbing the photos on the table nearby, "are deep red marks, as if he was being beaten with a belt."

"So...its not a suicide?" Alice asks.

"No, no. He killed himself. But someone beat the absolute shit out of him before so," nodding to the woman's body at the other table.

"The police says that they found her fingers on the flat head but haven't found anything else. No morphine, no needles, nothing. Forensics are still checking the house as we speak but as for now, nothing definite." The corner says, taking off the gloves and trashing them. He walks over to Alice, circling his arms around her waist. "Meanwhile, what do you say we go on break? I hear a new Italian restaurant opened down the street. What do you say, hmm?"

"As long as you're paying." she said, kissing his cheek. He laughs and gives her ass a little smack. They leave room, both tickling each other.

Detective Jack Harlow is checking Joseph's computer. He's checked through the search history and is now working through the photo and video files. The latest video was posted a day ago and he clicked it. In the video shows the one of the victim, Joseph, looking at the camera, his eyes unfocused. And then begins to speak:

"She can't keep me hidden any longer. She knows it. Everyone is beginning to be suspicious about my disappearance. She's can't keep saying that I'm sick. That I'm not feeling well. It's all going to end soon. And when it does," Joseph looks directly at the camera,"she will pay for what she's done to me."
