Chapter 1
In the hospital bed a beautiful woman breathed her last breath. The beep sound resonated around the hospital ward. That was the exact second that Luna died, leaving behind her family and friends. You could see a tear drop rolling down her chick.
The sun shined inside the spacious room and Luna blinked her eye as she was waking up. She exhale a deep breath, with her eyes open wide she stood up in the bed. "I...I didn't die....?" she exclaimed, as she looked at her hands. She looked around. This was not the hospital ward. Her head started to feel fuzzy, at the same time a nock came to the door. "miss... are you awake? it's time for a bath... May I come in". Luna thought and with hesitation she mummers "...Yes" the maid open the door looking at her with weird eyes. Luna saw her wearing the old costumes of a maid uniform from tv shows' and was stunned for a moment. She was thinking.... "is this some sort of filming site... But why am I here."
The maid went to the other side where some long curtains reach the full length of the wall. She opened the curtains and you could see a beautiful scenery with a patio. "miss I will get the bath ready in a moment" the maid said as she left Luna alone and walked into the bath.
Luna got up. She took some steps to the sliding glass door. She looked at the scenery in front of her. The beautiful trees and the sound of birds chirping at her ear. Her hand reflexbly open the door and went outside. Her whole body trembled from the wonder and fear of the unknown. She placed her hand on the railing seeing the grass land in front of her with some forest much further. "miss ... you can't be their out side and in your night gown.... What if someone seas you?....are you trying to get his attention like this? You shouldn't do this my lady" the maid that had came in frowned and said in a some what angry tone as she covered Luna up and guided her to go back to the room.
She was guided to the bathroom as the maid started to attended to her. taking her cloths off. Luna stopped her "I... I can do it myself." Luna said. "Yes miss, I will be waiting outside." the maid said. Luna felt a little troubled. Not knowing what to do. She stepped in the giant bath that was filled with water and started to lay their in a daze looking up at the sealing. "where am I ... what is this... Why am I here..." Luna thought to herself. "I do remember that I had dead.... but why am I still alive. and this place... why did she call me miss...? have transmigrated or something?" Luna started to scrub herself with her thoughts in mind.
At that time a loud bang opened the door to Lunas room. "master!" the maid said as she bend down and her head reached the floor. She know that what the miss had done earlier would bring trouble. "where is she...?" the duke said as he looked intently at the maid with furious eyes. "master sh-she's talking a bath right now." the maid said. He walked to the door and bang it a couple of time as he shouted for her to come out. The maid started to plead for the young miss. "master please spear her, she didn't know any better... she just wanted to get your attention" the maid said as if she was trying to help her, but all she meant by it is to put all the blame on her miss. That way the punishment wouldn't effect her and only the miss will not hear the end of it.
Hearing all the commotion and the angry screams from outside the door. Luna frowned. "why is their so much noise" She thought. Luna likes the the calm and tranquility feel whenever there's noise she gets easily annoyed and irritated. She had already resulted her self that she had transmigrated and became some one that has maids and calls her miss. This was not so bad, she even grinned from ear to ear. In her previous life she was a person that leaved day to day making ends meet. Studying and working. Trying to finish her colleague exams and get a dagree to make lots of money as a doctor. It was a hard goal to reach and she almost made it, but at the time of her internship to graduate from school. She had an accident and was send to the hospital and didn't make it out, ending up dying. "what a ball of crap... working so hard, but in the end everything was a waste." she thought as she became angry.
She opened the door. "what's all this commotion, so early in the morning?" she spoke with a sanicle tone. "what's all this commotion...?" the duke retorted her words back to her. "what do you mean, don't you know what you did wrong. Why are you being so shameless so early in the morning. Trying to flont in front of the people are your trying to bed them or something. Luna de la Rosetta even if your are unhappy with this arrangement. that doesn't give you the right to lose face in this household. A big boom happened in her head. Luna de la Rosetta... that was the name of the wife of the Duke of Eiote Longbird. From a novel that she had just finished Reading. It was a tragic story, about a girl that loved to much and ended up dying very tragically.
The Duke was the male lead and Luna was not the female lead but a some what villainess that forced the male lead into marry him with her fathers help conveying to the king. The male lead ended up forced to marry her without love in this twisted arrangement of one sided love. Two years after they married the male lead meets the female lead and he starts to fall in love with a female lead. The father of the female lead ends up setting a tragic death for the Villainess. Paving the road for the female lead and male lead to end up together. When the male lead finds out what the father of the female lead did it was to late. He had fallen head over heals in love with the female lead.
The Villainess died in this twisted one sided love that never gave fruit. The male lead and female lead end up marrying after her death. Making the Rosetta family's angry since they didn't even wait for the morning period. The Rosetta family triad everything but to no avail making their family go down in status they became penniless. That is why no one should go against the Duke of Eiote Longbird, since even his in laws weren't spared.
