I wrote this book at 14, and it was my first published work. Although I have progressed in style, I feel like this book will always have a special place in my heart.
It was offered publishing when I was 15, but I reworked it with minor tweaks six years ago before it was properly published.
Based on my actual hometown in the highlands and the people I knew growing up.
My passion is mental health awareness and acceptance, and looking back, I believe even at 14, I had that urge in me to include aspects of it in my writing.
