Queen Jaz

Today is the day of her funeral my dad comes in my room he says “ come on honey I know it’s not the best day shit it’s not for me either”.

I sigh and throw the covers off because I know my dad is going through it too, I lost a mom and friend but he lost his soul mate and his wife, friend my mom Sarah Taylor was his everything until one day she died and I was the one that seen her take her last breath.

I get in the shower after put on a long black dress with black glasses on, I pair it with my black flats. I put my hair in a ponytail not really caring shit it’s my mothers funeral.

The funeral was over in a blink of a eye but I decided to stay a while after everyone including my dad left to talk to my mom.

Well if you are wondering I’m 16 year old Jazmine Daisy Taylor I live in Seattle where I moved to when I was 7, I have wild untamable brown hair, blue eyes, very short , and a hot temper also kind of a mean bitch. I only have a group of friends and in total it’s 6 of us.

I’m on my way home after leaving the cemetery when my bitch Melanie texted me saying it’s time for our group meet up, we always have our meet up at this abandoned building that we now have decorated and cleaned.

I’m to busy replying to Mel’s message when I bump into what feels like a pole but when I hear a cough I look up to see a handsome boy the same age as me looks like.

I say “ Oh my I’m so sorry I wasn’t watching where I was going”. I put my hand out for him to shake he just looks at it then says “ Yea whatever just watch where your going”.

Then he walks off i scoff that was rude of him and I would have said something if I wasn’t in a rush.

I get home and change into some Forever 21 black jeans and a red Hollister hoodie then throw on my combat boots. I run out the house yelling saying” BYE LOVE YA DAD GOING WITH THE GANG CALL IF YOU NEED ME”. I hear him say love you while I was locking the door.

I walk to Mel’s house so we can wait for her boyfriend another member of our group Zack

to pick us up he is older than us by 1 year so he has his car.

We hear a faint horn from upstairs and Mel giggles and says “ yesss my man is hereee”.

I run downstairs because I know he will have my real best friend with him, his name is Jamie but he tells us to call him MiMi, when I get there I already see MiMi in the back and I run to get in saying “ hey y’all and MiMi Bitch I heard you was tryna get Brian to like you”.

I see him glare at me and say “ Jaz you and I both know he is straighter than a pole”.

I laugh and say “ well you know poles can bend and with that being said tell him bend it over”.

With that we all start laughing just then we arrive to the hangout building to see Sam’s car is here I know Sky is with him,she probably is in there smoking up her second blunt right now.

We walk in and I see the couches we brought here and the table then I see the fairy lights we managed to steal out of MiMi’s mom room, and a bunch of mirrors we hung up.

I see Sky like I said smoking next to her is Sam her older brother he is the same age as Zack.

I say” well if it ain’t sky high “ then I giggle because she hates that name but to be honest we all are stoners my dad knows I smoke and we drink a little on the side oh who am I kidding we drink a lot.

“Jaz I heard that it’s a new queen b trying to take over she will be switching to our school this year”.

I laugh because everyone thinks I’m queen b but I can care less I’m just a stone cold bitch but I say “ well tell her bring it on but I can care less for the spot I never really used it anyway”.

With that everyone starts laughing and I take a seat on MiMi lap he says” uh uh don’t act like your not heavy”.

He then pushed me on Sam lap which I hurry and scramble off because he has a girlfriend and she will have my head but she is so nice and I love her.

1 hour later……

“Whoooo yea just move your body to the music and you’ll get used to it”. MiMi is singing while dancing to the music

I giggle at MiMi he is so funny but we all are so drunk that the floor is spinning,

I say “ what the fuck I don’t think I can stand the floor is spinning”. While I giggle and stumble a little ,

I just thought of something so I say “ hey MiMi We’ve been drugged”.

I say in my Wilson sister voice off white chicks while laughing so hard.

I text my dad and say

Jaz-Dad its Jaz I’m not coming home tonight staying with Mel and the gang love ya don’t wait up.

LIFELINE- Okay love you be careful and stay safe, promise no run in with the cops. Xx

I giggle at that text because we do have frequent run in with the cops we don’t do anything that bad I mean we are sitting in a abandoned building we decorated and sleep at sometime but who cares. Why my dad still send kiss emoji’s I don’t know but I was like who taught you that only for him to say he is only 36 years old.

Jaz- You know I can’t promise you that but we will try please don’t stress.

We are now watching a movie on the laptop that Zack brought with him while eating some snacks with blankets on sitting in the couch. I’m snuggled in between to Sky and Sam.
