"The premise here is really good. I love the idea that this boy goes to earth for the first time and falls in love with dishes. It reminds me of this one character from The House on the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. He's a slime monster and his deepest desire is to become a hotel bellhop. Your idea just reminded me of that.
